serious question, should survivors spawn together (2 to 4) next to a gen or not?

Playing as a killer it happens quite a lot that the first gen is already done in the first 30-40 seconds even when I already got a hook, but 1 hook in the first minute vs 1 gen, it's nothing at all.

While playing survivor, it happens a LOT I spawn with someone or more and a gen is 2 meters from us, making us work on it instantly and maybe finish it before the killer even show up or we commit to it and that's 1 gen done in the first minute.

I think on both side is it unfair since if 2-3 survivors spawn next to a gen they already start doing their objective and can possible already do 20% of their work without a single pallet dropped or even 1 hook, pretty much making the killer start the real match with 4 gens instead of 5.

Obviously it doesn't happen every single game, but most of the time it does.

Of course you can use the argument of "use corrupted intervention" which is totally valid,

but Should survivors spawn apart slightly and slightly away from gens? just to at least make survivors take 7-10 seconds to get on a gen alone or maybe with someone instead of starting 1 gen with 2-3-4 survivors right away?

Everyone should spawn together (it may be even on one gen i don't care). They should never spawned pre-split up on seperated gens, if they spawn like that it is very hard early game for killers to comeback from. Because while you chasing one guy 3 gens are being done and you can't even apply more pressure by simply switching targets becaouse everyone is in different part of the map.

Survivors should always spawn together and then they would have to seperate themselves (or stick together if they want to).

No killer should spawn really close to a survivor and no survivor should spawn really close to a gen. It makes no sense that one side has to look for their objective while the other side can start immediately in my opinion. It's why perks like Corrupt are great. Killers tend to spawn very far away from survivors and survivors spawn on top of generators. Corrupt keeps survivors from getting on generators immediately as long as they didn't spawn next to one of the 4 unblocked generators.

Seriously, I can't tell you how many times just in the last week as survivor I've spawned so close to a generator I literally just need to click the button to start working, don't have to move or anything. Yet as killer I need to walk across the map and hope there weren't 2-4 survivors on a generator.

If everyone's together that means you can pressure all 4 survivors by being on that gen.

4 survivors on different gens are astronomically more efficient than all 4 survivors on one gen.

the difference between 3 survivors on a gen and 4 survivors on a gen is LESS than 2 seconds, they may as well have never joined at all.

Why does everyone forget about Discordance? it's literally amazing especially after the first survivor is gone.

yes dear god don't split them up. It is so so much better to have 1 gen gone and 0 progress on any other 4 gens then 4 gens with half progress.

Here's a better question should survivors have a chance of spawning directly next to the killer?

Also I see people saying that all the survivors should spawn together but my only argument to counter that would be a Legion who gets a massive advantage when all survivors spawn together.

I think survivors should spawn in groups of two, both on opposite sides of the map, while the killer spawns somewhere in the middle. This will force the killer to choose to go to one side of the map of the other, while ensuring that survivors aren't all working on different generators, or are all on the same generator.

They should all spawn together 100%, because it's more efficient to spread out on gens in the long run.

I'm glad none of you are developers because this game would be dead by now if you had your way

Yes, everyone should always spawn together. If they spawn spread out, that's 3 gens gone that the killer has no say in whatsoever. If they all spawn together they have to waste time spreading out themselves or doing 1 gen extremely inefficiently

The spawns suck they shouldn't spawn right next to any objective imo, last match I literally spawned on top of the killers ruin which should never happen because I know if I was in the killers shoes I'd be hella salty about it.

survivors should always spawn with at least 1 other survivor, and they should never spawn next to totems/all split up next to gens

The weirdest part about is that survivors have secret offering that makes them spawn together (which is the worst for them) while killers have secret offering that makes survivors spawn separated (which is the worst case for killer since they start working on a multiple gens from the start)

Its either because whoever was creating these offerings didn't had a clue about the game, or the gameplay simply changed drastically since those offerings were created.

Anyways, survivors, gens and totem spawns needs to be looked at, all Im saying

Well that's my point if all the survivors spawn together and it's not a Legion a generator can be popped in 20 seconds possibly less. I'm not saying there should be 0 chance you can spawn together but at the moment their is like a 50-60% chance you will spawn will the other survivors. I think you should only spawn with other survivors if you use one of the offerings because that means that the offerings will actually do something because at the moment they're pretty useless considering you will probably spawn with someone else.
