You'd be surprised. Fans of big streamers do it all the time when the streamer gets a ttv in their lobby. They'll hop streams to go talk ######### on the other streamer.

Yep! Had it happen to me once. I don't even have 'TTV' in my name, but a streamer decided to see if I was streaming.
He was hooked, I was injured, and the Killer was camping. I THINK it was when Bubba was new, but I can't recall. I'm in the process of explaining to my (whole whopping 3) viewers that the best I can hope for is a trade, but probably not, since I'm injured, so I'm looking for the hatch while keeping an eye on the Killer and Survivor, in case the Killer leaves.
As I'm explaining this; my thought process behind my actions, the hooked dude pops into my stream and DEMANDS I trade, since, and I quote 'I have more viewers, so I'm more important'. And when I laugh at the absurdity of it, he weaponized his viewers (all 10 of them) to spam me with insults in my twitch chat.
So I rolled my eyes with another laugh, my mod started banning them, and I found the hatch & crouch-danced on it while waiting for 'Mr 10 Viewers' to die on the hook while saying things like 'Damn! Wish I had 10 viewers to see me find the hatch! It would suck if my 10 viewers saw someone with only THREE viewers get the hatch! Oof! My ego would NEVER recover!'

Wow that is one hell of a story. What a dickhead lol. Usually it's the streamer who has to keep their viewers from doing that to other streamers, but that dude legit sicced his chat on you. Damn.

As a proud Twins main, I do not rely on this strategy, but going back to the OP, someone was just mad that I used Charlotte to body block a narrow chokepoint that luckily had my ruin there so they couldn't cleanse it. (They brought the map offering lol)
I just want to point out that people take this game way too seriously and make too much of a fuss when their plans don't work.

Yeah. It does not help that I have self-esteem issues, so I sometimes come off as quiet, or even stutter slightly if I worry about what I'm saying. I've been streaming for 4 years, minus 2020 and allot of 2021 so far due to homlessness (recently fixed), and I still come off as quiet. Probably why I don't retain many viewers except for my friends. Not that I mind. 😁 The journey is more fun than the destination.
But when my sarcasm switch gets flipped, the Scottish in me pops out and I snark hard.

You must be new to the internet, unfortunately this ######### happens all the time, so many trolls will go out of their way to write spiteful comments, either because they didn't get their own way or they have anger issues.
I do agree it is stupid, but it's been happening since the dawn of social media.

I used to get a ton of hate on xbox.
Switche to PC and have had maybe 2 bad post game chat convos. Pc players seem a lot more chill about losing.
