In the next patch will the ingame freezes/rubber banding be fixed?
Cause as killer during chases I freeze for a moment then I lose the survivor. And as survivor when doing gens same thing freeze for a moment then boom gen explodes.
Hope there's a fix coming.
Edit pc steam.

Which platform do you play on?
How are you connected to the internet?
how far is the nearest server from you?
asking because innerer experienced this, so it sounds like the problem may be on your side. Maybe it can be fixed (eg use cable instead of wireless connection to your router)

Not sure what platform you use or whether you use wifi/direct connection.
I am on PC with ethernet connection and have never had these issues.

If you're on Xbox one or ps4 (or even switch) this has been a thing for 5 years and it's only really gotten worse. It won't be fixed because the devs don't seem to care

I have the same thing on PC happened like 1 patch ago or something.

Are you on console or low end PC? If so there are triggers that cause FPS drops for both killers and survivors. Entering Bloodlust, status effects popping up on the screen, entering Freddy's Dreamworld, Exposed status triggering, someone being hit with Sloppy Butcher, someone using Dead Hard near you... Those are just some of the triggers that'll cause FPS drops.
This post has bunch of videos showing examples of the poor optimization on console and some PCs.
And this post has many of the triggers for both sides listed out.

How i change server?

You can’t change server, but it would be helpful to know which is the nearest to you and how far it is away!
I would also suggest to try an Ethernet cable and see if it makes a difference. If possible, using a cable is always recommended for online gaming because it is still way more stable! Maybe there is also some new interference that made your connection worse (other devices maybe even from the neighbors for example)

It makes no sense to me considering the majority of their player base plays on console.
Why would a company cater towards their smallest market while continuing to ignore the complaints of their main player base?

I'm curious now that you mention that do they have a breakdown as to who plays by what methods somewhere?

Idk just find it weird cause never had this issue before

I can’t seem to find it, but I remember there being an old Reddit thread from like 2018 or 2019 that did the math based off achievements and found that Xbox and PS4 had more than 10 million concurrent players.
Consoles are much more prevalent than gaming capable PCs are and not to mention that there have been multiple times where the game has been free through a sort of game pass on both Xbox and PS4.
This isn’t even counting the Switch player base as well.

Neat, guess I'm in the majority then.
As for why they work on pc more than consols I'm guessing it's becusse regardless of player base they are more comfortable with pc so that's what they work on mostly. This game started pc didn't it?
