DBD to Resident Evil 5/6 & Resistance Comparisons?

Anyone ever notice that Dead By Daylight's struggle phase is similar to Resident Evil 5/6? Pressing A & D to escape from Zombies and having to hit Skill Checks (M1)? Now the new HUD display is literally an exact replica of Resident Evil Resistance?

I don't think the developers are so foolish to take away the old hud just for a RE comparison and a possible hypothetical chapter of it.

This also puts the case for Resident Evil 8 Lady D being the killer to bed.

I withdraw my words. But the current hud is still good, not like the previous one that almost the entire community exploded for it.
