MMR coming when??
These type of lobbies should not be so common. I get it if it's every once in a while. I really do. But these types of lobbies are literally every other game for me. Was this addressed at all in the roadmap today? I couldn't watch, but hopefully there's some changes coming soon. I refuse to believe that the game is lacking survivors around my rank. If I were to infer based off of my matches, then upwards of 75% of survivor players are red and purple because the game has struggled to match me with players of my rank ever since I was rank 20.

If not this current update (June 15th), then the mid-season chapter following it. I believe one of the devs already teased the concept for Rank Rewards and the reset placing everyone at 20, so just be patient friend, it's coming out sooner than later.

I would say just stop playing killer the more people that do that the more effort they will put in mmr when more people complain about the long matchmaking

I think I will. Played more games after that, and they were pretty much the same as the screenshot I posted. I don't find survivor fun at all, so playing something more enjoyable would probably be smart.

Part of me has actually been wondering if something like this is true. Whenever I watch brand new players stream, they seem to mostly get people right around their ranks. Meanwhile if I simply win 3 games in a row, the game is like, "oh, we see you're ready for red/purple rank play".

yah they wanted it to be based by your SKILL so were if you win agaist someone who has more points in the skill lvl then you then you go up a lot. that why you play if solo and you have rank "1" but they are playing like 13 and 12 hack i palyed a killer and this rank 3 may as well been 16.

they have talked about rank rewards for 3 months now and nothing. no dev has given any more information out since the last time we heard about rank rewards and had a second failed mmr test.

This vid starts with a snippet of one of the developers mentioning the change. I can't find the exact VOD but its still notable he mentioned "no longer for matchmaking".

he has mentioned this many times but this was his stream late last week and someone asked him about rank rewards , rank resett etc. he has said this for months when asked. this is exactly what information we've had since the last mmr trial that "was better" and he keeps saying it's coming soon, but has said this for months. I love Mclean, and I can see he's passionate about it but that vod is nothing new.

I just hope it's fixed soon. I went up against another red ranked squad earlier today, and for a majority of the match, I literally could not hit them. They used a map offering and and just toyed around with me. They knew every loop perfectly, and refused to do gens. They just wanted me to chase them around for fifteen minutes. Thankfully, they toyed around long enough for me to get a lot of hooks and one kill. And, by not doing gens, the game actually thought I was excellent at defending gens.
On a better note, I reached rank 12 for the first time. I know it's nothing for most here, but I've never been green rank before on either side, so I was pretty happy with how far I've come. The fact that I did it while facing much higher ranked players a majority of the time makes it feel a bit sweeter. I'm gonna keep playing and trying to improve, but for now, I'm taking a break.

was hoping we would hear about it in the stream yesterday, but at this point could be in the next mid chapter but it also could be much later.

It was meant to be released before the anniversary but of course they don't keep promises.

Its really surprising they didn't even mention MMR or matchmaking as a whole during the stream
