All of you be nice
We are about to recieve new players. Everybody be nice to anyone you think is most likely new. Signs of this will be failing skill checks constantly no chase skill whatsoever etc. IF you think a person is new be nice and not toxic. We need to make a good impression and toxicity is not making a good impression so for the love of god please be nice.

Agreed. I'm a fair player and will be watching out for newer guys.
12 -
You're asking for the world here. But I'll try.
12 -
It can be sometimes difficult to differentiate newbie from potato.
8 -
Yes your right first impressions are important on new players joining.
1 -
hey, @MandyTalk could you please pin this?
there's 100 threads a minute right now because of the stream, but this is arguably the most important one

No worries, this game supplies me with ample communications tools to teach Dwight players on how to play efficiently (especially when they fail a skill-check).
Steps to teaching Dwights:
Press 2 to wave them over to me
Press 1 to point at a locker
Press spacebar to get into the locker
Watch the learning process in action.

Why? Its not like new players will be matched with...oh right, nevermind
6 -
Especially for the love of God do not camp or tunnel newbies.
2 -
So I can't like troll any new nemeses?
1 -
You'll push them away from playing the game. These new blinding perks are too much.
2 -
If available try to give the noobs tips on how to play.
1 -
NO
2 -
It shouldn't matter if they're playing Nemesis, you just shouldn't be toxic in general.
3 -
Advice I really hope people follow. Save the 'authentic DBD experience' for after people have a chance to like the game. Survivors who get facecamped and hard tunneled at 5 gens and killers who get clicky clicky tbagged for their first few games are going to refund their purchase and not look back.
3 -
"Hey all you degenerates with no respect for other people, please be nice to new players."
The only people who enjoy being toxic are people who feed off of others misery for whatever reason, so sadly they're not gonna stop being losers bc of new players. Nice of you to try and be a decent person though lol. I hope more people adopt this mindset over time.

I try.

Playing Infectious Nurse and Toxic clicky Claudette

Those new survivor perks were put there for a reason they must be used and a lot

Asking DBD players to not be toxic is like asking a dead person to wake up
4 -
It is going to happen later on have you seen higher ranks...it is being dishonest to new players

why did this come up this is a post about being nice.
1 -
It is nice I am going to help my teammates 3 people at the same time?
0 -
Just because of this post I'll be Nursing all of them😈😈😈
3 -
I'm quite literally going to do this. It'll be rough for them, but they'll learn that this game is really only a bully simulator.
3 -
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand this is how I'm going to approach all this:

ok then.

Better they learn early...bring your keys hatch offerings and haddonfield maps😎 with meta perks

*huff puffing*
I AM NICE! *fixes table* GOD

I'm so glad someone posted this!
A lot of people are probably going to try this game for the first time with the RE chapter and could be a huge boost to our current community. Shorter wait times (which are pretty short lately, hooray!), new Survivors/Players with different perspectives - I really want to see a whole new tide of people fall in love with this game and become fans with us!
2 -
Until they rank up and see what awaits...if only there was a casual mode and a ranked mode
2 -
By the time they get there they'll hopefully be hooked.... Ha.
But in all seriousness, I'm a Survivor who doesn't belong in the red ranks who is now there. But I love the game so even though I get stomped I stick around. There's plenty to like about the game. 😊
0 -
You are one of the good survivors...I commend you for that as most red ranks treat killer mains worse😊 but realistically new survivors are going to get tunneled and camped relentlessly and new killers are going to get looped blinded and bodyblocked by swf on coms
0 -
thats why I made this, to tell people to avoid those behaviours while we get more players.
0 -
Honestly we know that new rank 20 players are going to show up in red rank games anyway cuz of the matchmaking so even rank 1s need to prepare for this.
2 -
So they will get nice players the first couple of weeks and then get thrown in the deep end of swf on coms and sweaty killers it is dishonest...that is just being cruel to them...the intent is nice but wait until they play in the evening hours
4 -
The first tunnel and face camp on the survivor by a sweaty bubba or the first swf that loops their nemesis to no end while getting gen rushed is going to make them stay and get good or say not for me an uninstall

Let’s be real here. It doesn’t work.
The matchmaking is still as rubbish as ever, matching new players to veterans. Smurfing still exists. Bully squads still exists. Toxic people still exists. These things are the one who keep new players out. It has always been like that.
If it doesn’t work before, it certainly doesn’t work this time.

can do buckaroo

I think I'll continue to play like I always have and be as toxic as I want. After all, I paid for this game with my own money so no one else has any say in what I do with my time in the game.
1 -
we can try. Can we at least get points for trying.
0 -
Remember Stranger Things release? It caused a stereotype about all Nancy players are completely stupid. I expect comething similar happen with Resident Evil chapter.
0 -
I will meet you halfway I am doing a karma challenge. For every killer game i am not tbagged clicky clicked or trolled i will be nice to the next 4 killers i play as a rank 20 survivor without meta perks. If the group is toxic I will do the same to the next 4 killers (full meta perks hatch and haddonfield offerings and keys/flashlights)..it is up to the community lets see if the positivity happens😁
0 -
I will, in fact, and I'm gladly to do so. But I won't get my hopes up..

I've said this before but from experience the hardcore RE fans have a higher chance of bullying the DBD community. There are some nice people from the community but there's a lot of hardcore elitism that happens in the RE community. Likely most are going to scoff off any bs the DBD community gives them and look at them like they're idiots.
0 -
oh. nm then ######### everything I was going to do.
0 -
Let’s not play stridor spirit or spirit in general too, ok?
0 -
I think people int his forum make it very obvious they don't even play the game and instead just read fanfics of it or whatever, so i don't think you should worry about anyone here being toxic in game.
0 -
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah no toxicity in the game
0 -
I'd say it's about every 2 out of 5 are pretty hardcore and a toss up with the rest. I've just been involved in the community for a while admittedly it's why I'm kind of an ######### killer main. Too used to the RE environment to the point where I just laugh at the DBD players who try to be toxic or rude because they look stupid half the time. Not saying I take pride in being an ass but I just don't put up with any bullshit from anyone. I discourage toxicity for the most part.

I like it! It is an advantage for all of us when fresh blood comes with the RE chapter.
When I see apparent newcomers, I will be more friendly. <3
Whether it's as a killer or a survivor.
