Why Does Power Struggle Tell the Killer When It's Used?
This perk isn't all that good, even when you pair it with Flip Flop, so why does it let the killer know when it's used? It completely removes the mystery of "did another survivor get the pallet save or was that Power Struggle?" and it completely kills any possibility to use it multiple times (which was already pretty low).
Only a clueless killer who doesn't know what the perk does would potentially fall for it again, but even still that's assuming they don't insta-pick you or that they walk through a pallet on their way to a hook. You could call this a buff I suppose, but I see it as more of a QoL, seeing as your chances of actually using it aren't going to improve much, given how getting one use out of it is already super unlikely.

Wait, the killer gets a notification emblem on the right side from the screen, like "Boil over"?
Really?!?
Wow... Well, I didn't use it, but I THOUGHT about that... Well... Ok. So I'll not gonna use it?

Because it's consistent with how all perks that directly affect the other side.

Then why no perk icon shown when the killer kicks a gen with Oppression elsewhere and the survivors get a skill check?
0 -
There is an icon that appears when a survivor first gets hit with the oppression skill check.

Why do survivors even get a notification for Huntress Lullaby? The perk isn't all that good, only a clueless survivor wouldn't realize the sound queue was getting shorter.
Do you hear that? Thats how you sound.
5 -
Yeah, if they gets hit. Not before. So the same should be apllied to killers to. They get the first hit with "power struggle" and than they get later the notification when picking up the same survivor.
Or am I wrong with this suggestion?

Notifications of this kind are not consistent for either side. There are many examples were similar situations are treated differently. The reason is unironically because the devs chose to do so in that particular situation.

Im a strong believer the one side should have 0 notification of the other side perk. This ruin a lot of perk like make your choice or haunted ground etc...

I wouldn't mind if they took away the Power Struggle notification for killer.
But I would also like them to take away the Exposed notification with Starstruck; let it be like NOED (and Devour Hope?) where the killer gets one surprise hit.

It should work like DS or Franklin's where it only notifies the other side AFTER it's used

There is

Okay, and Hex: Devour Hope used to notify survivors sooner that they were being affected by it, but it was later changed to keep it a surprise because survivors would swiftly hunt it down and cleanse it before the killer even got to 3 stacks, let alone 5.
Power Struggle (and No Mither) should get the same treatment.
No Mither lets you pick yourself up off the ground as many times as you can before bleeding out, but you start the trial injured, the killer knows you have it, and doesn't slug you. Power Struggle lets you stun the killer with a pallet while being carried and without needing a teammate, only if the killer doesn't know you have it and doesn't immediately pick you up, but stunning the killer tells them you have it and they will immediately pick you up.
----
If they do not remove Power Struggle's notification on the killer's end, then they may as well add "Can only be used once per trial" as a stipulation to the Power Struggle perk description.

Power struggle only notifies the killer if you hit the pallet stun with power struggle. So it already works like those perks.
0 -
it only notifies them with a message in the top right like when decisive strike hits

I don't see the big deal. Expecting Power Struggle to work more than once is unrealistic anyway plus revealing the perk that caused an unusual action is consistent with everything else in the game.
Honestly, expecting Power Struggle to work even once is already unrealistic. Even in my first games as killer, I knew about the perk's existence and would just not walk under pallets while carrying someone.

Hex devour hope used to have a secondary effect that deemed notifying survivors because it slowed gen progression much like how thanatophobia and dying light currently warn survivors when they are slowing gen progression
and even then it still warns the survivors when it is used for its current effects and can be seen active pre-emptively
to give power stuggle and no mither the same treatment would be to keep no mither as it is since it already has a tell, and to make power stuggle have some indication before it is used something like your aura is revealed to the killer within 16/12/8 meters while in the dying state

It'll help newer survivors learn, and plus, you never know. Maybe there was a blendette that was blending into the pallet.

If it was a one-time use perk, I'd agree, but it's not.

Lightborn.

+1 to OP's suggestion! It would make sense if it was still a single-use perk as it was initially going to be; but now that it is not, I think this is a worthwhile change that could potentially add more value to an already circumstantial perk.
0 -
They don't get a notification until a token is gained for Lullaby, but in all fairness I think it shouldn't alert them until 3 tokens are gotten.
0 -
Man why do you have to agree with me, I also agree that it shouldn't be until 3 tokens, similarly to how Devour Hope isn't revealed until the exposed status.
1 -
Then what's wrong? Even if you don't get a notification, any killer would know that if they get pallet-stunned while bringing a survivor, wouldn't they already know that its Power Struggle?
0 -
It could be a survivor running up behind them getting the pallet stun, so the killer has to confirm if it actually was a second survivor or not. By telling the killer it completely removes any opportunity for this perk to be used twice, again unless if they're really clueless. The perk is already hard enough to get any use out of, it really doesn't need another hindrance.
1 -
The only way for you to pull that off is on an SWF so again, I don't see a problem
0 -
???
People get pallet saves in solo que my dude, it's not that abnormal of a situation that is exclusively tied to SWF. Even if it was, there's literally no reason to restrict the perk in an arbetrary way.
1 -
Wait you do? Every time someone goes for a pallet save the killer just drops me and downs that survivor
