Why is it even possible for a survivor to spawn on your totem? What's the ######### point of bring them if they can spawn like that.

No, i shouldn't need Hex Undying to make my other Hex perk do what its suppose to for more than 20 seconds

All the time people say that Hex-Totems get cleansed in 30 seconds, yet Ruin is still one of the most used Perks (even without Undying). And before its change, it was in basically every Match, despite Spawns being worse.

Hex-Spawns are probably not as bad as people want to make them. There are also a lot of really good Spawns. But nobody talks about those.

When it comes to Survivors spawning next to Hex-Totems - Maps only have a limited space. And the smaller the Map is (and some got their size reduced around a year ago), the more likely things are cramped together. So it is unavoidable that Survivors spawn next to Totems and the chance that this Totem will be the Hex is 20%, which is also not small.

But if we are totally honest its not that hard to solve this problem. There are maps which are a lot better for totems then others.

I promise you there is more than enough space on every map in the game to program it so survivors don't spawn directly on top of my totem ever. I don't have a problem with them looking around and finding it nice and quick but that is different from me watching them start the ######### cleansing animation before my lethal pursuer times out.

Yeah Hex: Ruin was the most used perk and is still used a lot because gens are too fast and it's the best slow down perk as long as its up.

Should be less of a problem on the RE map.

It sucks, I never expect my ruin to stay in the game for more than 3 minutes anymore unless it's on indoor maps.

I'm happy if my Ruin lasts more than a minute. Some matches it lasts like two seconds longer than the cleanse timer. Why is that acceptable?

“The chance that this totem will be the hex is 20% which is not small.”

Then why don’t they add more totems to the trial, each trial? 5-10 totems chosen at random, with a lower minimum of 6 if any Hex totem is in the Killer’s load out, and a maximum of 5 if they are using Hex: No One Escapes Death, tuning perks like Hex: Thrill Of The Hunt and Small Game accordingly? Increasing totems per trial can go hand-in-hand with the addition of Boon perks. Then they adjust the Hex spawn conditions so that they are guaranteed to never spawn next to a Survivor spawn, OR alternatively make Hex Totems stay unlit for the first 60 seconds of the match, OR make it so that if a Hex totem is cleansed within 60s of the match starting, it automatically moves to another totem, in addition with an increase to the totem amount per trial.

There are so many ways for BHVR to mitigate the ‘cleansed before I can do anything about it unless I’m playing extremely specific Killers because the Survivors spawn on top of my totem literally across the map’ issue rather than outright ignoring it for several years.

There are considerably more terrible totem spawns than good ones. Couple that in with the fact that survivors usually spawn quite spread out and it's far more likely that soemone will cleanse a totem before it gets value than it will stay up, hence the fact that people use Undying so much.

Just make a new perk "Hex: Retribution" whenever this hex perk is active if a survivor breaks a Hex Totem they take a health state of dmg. Would you want to risk it?

Or "Hex: Protective Ward" just like Corrupt Internvention but for Hex totems! Your totems are blocked by the entity for 120 seconds. PS. Dont take Hex Haunted Ground with this... its silly. ;)

Also make a survivor perk where if the killer damages a generator they lose 5% movement speed. Seems fair and completely balanced, right?

Ok but only if we get Hex: Basement. Survivors start the game in the basement on the hook. If they Kobi they can play.
