PERK against face camping
I would like to suggest a perk to prevent the face camping of survivors , i t would be called
ROADHOUSE~ this perk will activate if a killer is with a certain distance of the hook for more then 5 or 10 sec the survivor will then get the ability to kick the killer in the face, stunning the killer and giving a 50% chance to YEET off hook.
the camping of killers is a big problem and needs to be addressed , DS helps against tunneling off hook but what about the face camping killers that bring a tent and smores to watch you die on hook?
(times and percentages could be easily changed to help with balance of gameplay these are just numbers for the instance of the perk to show what it could do)

Camping is a strategy. It might be annoying but you can't do anything about it. This would just ruin the game for killers and not be fun.

i believe it will give the killer incentive not to camp, also it will give the survivor a chance to do something againts killers that use the strategy of camping. it would be a balanced perk in my opnion!

and how is the game fun for survivors if they are camped til death from the first hook? This perk will only hurt you if you are a camping killer, IF you dont camp this perk wont hurt you just like You will never know DS is on a survivor if you DONT TUNEEL OFF HOOK

There are already many perks against face camping. Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Camaraderie.

It's not fun, it's just the way it is.
You're just a survivor that has never played killer and just doesn't think about the other side.
Since we're adding a perk for face camping let's add a perk for gen slowdown huh? How bought the gens are blocked for the whole trial and survivors are blinded for the rest of the trial. This will prevent survivors from gen rushing.

how does DS help against camping if your on a hook and face camped... most survivors wont be able to help you and its an instant DEPIP

dont you have ruin doesnt that go against gens? arent your hit boxes already in KILLERS favors? i can tbe changed it doesnt have to be the way it is... but if thats how you feel thats your opinion, this is just an idea and i feel like it could set a balance

Camping isn't an issue. If a killer is facecamping than the rest of the survivors are free to do gens.
Sometimes you get games that aren't very fun. That's just the nature of a pvp game.

I'm, not a killer main, I'm actually a survivor main. You really want to go down that route? Don't survivors have DS, BT, Deliverance, OoO, Dead hard to win in chases and get off the hook?
Hitboxes aren't in killers' favor, it's latency. If you played this game for more than 2 seconds you know that.

LMAO im not being rude or going down any road im suggesting a perk idea and defending it, i have played this game for over a year and quite often if your facecamped you end up depipping because most of the time you end up with a rando group that will leave you to do gens this will give that unfortunate survivor a chance to get away if noone come to help, no need to start attacking ppl for having ideas but once again you are completely entitled toyour opinion please dont try to make me feel bad for trying out something new have a great day

ur cute... because i mentioned ruin as 1 option for killer and mentioned hit boxes that was snapping at you? thats i guess if your going to assume i only ever played dbd for 2 secs right and ur not attacking me and assuming the worst about me? again what ever have a great night, discussing a flaw is one thing accusations are another

You literally wrote a post about face camping. Then said killers have ruin and they have hitboxes on their side. Bruh, of course I'm going to assume you have played this game for 2 seconds. You don't understand anything, and probably never played killer and don't understand why they tunnel or face camp.

This is great drama and all but on a serious note devs love face campers they won't add this perk many games I've sat staring into the face of a killer waiting to die and thinking I wish I could kick him in his stupid face. Love the perk but like I say devs love face campers

and the game will continue to grow and evolve and more perks will come and go... why not 1 more? borrowed time only works if SOMEONE COME TO GET YOU.... this is a perk that will work IF NOOONE COMES TO GET YOU (sorry not yelling just trying to get the point across)

your right i dont play killer often but i also try not to tunnel or camp because as a survivor i know it sucks, there for i never see DS or BT as a result

well thank you for being honest but not rude, and yes the point is to get across that as a survivor lets say NOONE comes for you, BT will not help you if you dont have a suvivor that has it or unhooks you at all...

While I 100% agree that Camping is a valid tactic, I don't have a problem with a Perk which would help the hooked Survivor punish certain behavior. Said Perk, allowing an attack on a Killer that gets to close in the hopes of stunning him/her doesn't seem too unreasonable. It is far more likely to get used when the Killer intercepts at the hook as someone attempts to save. That would be the rougher part to figure out, i.e. the priorities there.
Perks as tools for Survivors to use seem reasonable and the right way to go, rather than trying to outlaw Player agency.

please feel free touse ur scroll to go up i already said why BT is not always useful, if you are LEFT ON HOOK from randos who dont always give a crap about other randos (which is too often) BT wont help if noone comes to help, also not everyone brings BT, this is a perk for a survivor who is on their own

They are just going to comment "BT DOESNT HELP AGAINST CAMPING". They don't consider other possibilities to face camping, in fact, SWF is just a Mega counter. As well as Deliverance, DS, Unbreakable. Creating a perk that punishes killer for using a strategy is just going to ruin the game.
The best way to address face camping is to change hooking features and other things.

well, i can not disagree with you about addressing hook features and such, i think it would also help withthe upcoming update , the devs are now making it so if you get so many bad reviews as a killer you get banned, well this perk could also be a reason to prevent the toxic survivors from complaining they were camped and unable to do anything.... if you would like its just another way this perk could be helpful in game and in lobbies

Devs already tried to prevent face camping. What occured was survivors abusing that exact mechanic to win games.
Like is a killer suppose to ignore the survivor clearly in his face trying to get the hook. There's no way for a killer to counter a coordinated team.
I think it was discovered it got to messy trying to control camping. The game design of hook system is inherently flawed. And you cant change hooks without making a completely new game.

No worries I personally think balance should be made on camping if killers can camp give survivors a chance to earn some points by stunning killers to give teamates a chance to unhook safely.
