[What about] "Challenges" which are rewarded with extra Bloodpoints

Member Posts: 52

I know Daily Rituals exist, no worries.

I'm talking about something that messes with your game more directly, for example starting with randomly locked perk slots (so one or more of your perks will be gone for the game) or starting into a game with totally random perks (even those you do not have). These little things could propose a challenge while giving some extra Bloodpoints, which could be a flat amount or a % of what you earned in that game (like 100% additional bloodpoints).

What do you guys think of this as an idea?

I came into this thread about to DEVASTATE you by saying something clever and witty about there already being daily rituals.
but then I read a good idea

I’m looking forward to the posts that don’t read the part where the OP says they know about daily rituals.

But yes I would be very into that. Maybe just a dedicated separate all random mode that awards more bloodpoints? The survivor and killer (and outfit, with the option to have outfit items you don’t own), items/addons, perks, and offerings are all random. Each time you join a new lobby you get 1 free reroll. May make SWF with more bearable (they don’t all come in with flashlights and meta perks) and force people to try perks/killers they wouldn’t normally but still have a reroll in case you get someone/something you detest.

Reroll option would be nice, I thought about only seeing the perks you got once you are in the game but that would probably lead to a lot of ragequits.

The random aspect could bring some fresh air into the game, it's always fun playing different stuff (similar to random modes in other games).

I love this idea! Give us more variety besides the rituals. I very much welcome all changes made to spice up the game like this.

Doing completely random stuff for both sides while not using any of you own stuff up would be interesting. For instance it could randomly choose a common all the way up to ultra rare addon(s) and or offering. But based upon the loot tables of what's actually there in game not what you actually have in inventory.

To make it even more fun and challenging both killers and survivors will have their choice chosen at random from all owned ones and you won't know who you get until the game actually loads. This would keep ppl from dodging if they find out who they got to try and farm better options. The same would be true for perks and addons. You'd get a popup window for say 10 secs or so at start of match where no movement is allowed to be able to see what you get.

The one thing that should happen is this shouldn't be a ranked mode since no one is going to want to risk depipping to play it. You could make it so the person can choose whether they want to risk ranking or not and if they lose they lose double what they'd normally lose but can gain 2x as much if they survive.

Agree that it shouldn’t be ranked (since ranking rrrreeeallly doesn’t matter anyway) but I think I’d rather someone dodge a lobby than disconnect from the match.

Could be an interesting way to spice up gameplay for yourself while getting some extra BP.

Something like having weekly challenges for all of your characters would be nice.

Since it wouldn’t be a “one and done” you could keep playing those who you’re more comfortable with.

A nice contrast to the irregular Daily Rituals.

Honestly they should've added a little bloodpoint bonus for completing achievements in game. Nothing significant, but it would be a nice little bonus incentive.

I assume you'll be able to opt in and out of this.
Daily Rituals happen naturally, and i'm not a fan of being forced to play a certain way.

Of course, my main idea was to make this something optional. You can do it, you don't have to, similar to the dailies (which are like "Escape as X and get X Bloodpoints" - you can do it, don't have to, you can also reroll it).

Seeing as the devs already do something similar on social media (Where they give out a random perk build you gotta play and screenshot to maybe win something) I think this can be part of the game.

Actually a good idea and I wouldn't mind it replacing the daily rituals because most of the time I get the cannibal rituals and we all know how these matches turn out

    Your name says it all.

Having more things to reward playing well or in a more challenging fashion are nice.

Something like, Perform 25 Window Vaults (Fast Vaults).
