why do some people get mad at the other team when the other team plays efficiently
I know it's mostly any game but this one has a severe problem calling the other person trash for playing efficiently. what I'm talking about is when someone gets mad for getting someone out of the game as quickly as possible or camping when someone is near the hooked surv. some people even get mad at the surv that flashlight saved. why are you mad at someone for doing these things ya they can be annoying but what else are they supposed to do to let you win. "They always say wow nice tunneling" when killers need to get someone out of the game quickly if they want to be efficient. or some people will say " wow nice toxic flashlight save" like what. People even get mad at the killer for camping in end game where they don't have anything to do but secure a kill.
its so stupid to get mad at someone for playing the game to the best of their ability.

So, you don't see why someone could be mad about tunneling, facecamping or genrushing?
Tunneling is the killer saying "######### you" to one survivor and making sure they die. Clearly there's a problem there that has nothing to do with efficiency, since even in a hook farming situation it's far more efficient to leave them on the ground.
Facecamping is another one that people insist is efficient, but it's truly not. That's not to say the killer should always leave the area, it's just that I've seen significantly more killers claim that facecamping a survivor in a deadzone with no gens is efficient than anything else.
Gen rushing is one of the scummiest things in DbD. It really is, it's just a full party going "you know what, I don't even want to try". Most of the time they're not even very good in a chase and just predrop pallets, because that's another huge ######### problem in this game. Unlike the other two, in which there are situations where they are the right play, the blame for this rests entirely on the survivors that do it. They are essentially players asking for "free win" buttons and recieving them on silver platters. I guarantee they're also the biggest critics of Spirit, Nurse and Blight, because those are the only three that can make it somewhat difficult.
TLDR: Playing efficiently isn't what people think it is, except genrushing which is also not what people think it is but for a different reason.

There's a difference between playing well and abusing the horrible game design.
For Survivor: Abusing infinites, abusing horrible map design, using every crutch in the book, playing toxic.
For Killer: Tunneling, abusing broken killers (Doctor & Leatherface)

Is it really that hard to see why people are frustrated when they get absolutely stomped in a game that is supposed to be fun for everyone?
Getting genrushed is really annoying because the killer doesn't have time to do anything. 1 chase, 2 gens done already. Go after someone else and next thing you notice is the last gen popping. Gens go way too fast when survivors focus on them.
Tunneling and camping ruins the game for one individual survivor. The other day, I had a game where Blight found me before I found a gen. He downed me, hooked me. Returned to the hook, followed me, downed me again, ate DS, continued to chase me, hooked me again. When I got unhooked, he did it again and tunneled me out of the game with 0 genpoints and 0 altruism since there was nothing I could do but run all game. Did this sound fun and do you think this is good game design?

Its just bc the game is unbalanced and asymmetrical. In other games you can use the same most efficient strategy and its "fair".

In a hook farming situation its more efficient to hook them if they dont have ds. So its risky, but if you get the hook its the most efficient. You will lose gen pressure, but if you get someone killed earlier with gens still remaining its worth it.

It's the nature of an asymmetrical pvp game. One side feels outnumbered and ganged up on, the other side feels underpowered and cheated out of tools.
An individual survivor doesn't stand a chance against a killer, while four survivors against one killer can feel oppressive, if the player skill is lopsided. Both scenarios can occur in any given game, leading to a snowball effect one way or the other.

i get mad at tunneling too but that is their objective to kill me and that is what the survivor's objective is to do all the gens. face camp is annoying and mainly someone just wants to be an A-hole so I can see why you get mad a the player but for the other 2 things why get mad at the player and throw insults their way. " oh you're trying to win well your trash" doesn't really make sense does it.

Gen rushing does not exist. The survivors only have 1 objective - to do gens. Unless the killer provides other incentives for them (like hooking/downing someone or running a hex perk) then survivors literally have nothing else to do. It is not the fault of the survivors when they complete their objective because a killer did not pressure gens enough or provide another task for them to do.

It is entirely possible for the survivors to finish the gens in under 3 minutes. No killer, no matter how good or what character they are playing, can stop these kinds of unpleasant players.
And that's not even the fastest gens can get done if they bring in perks and items as well.
