The MOST STRANGE BAN EVER
So, I’m gonna trying to make this complicated story simple and understandable.
i wonder if this EVER happened with someone before .
if i could get an answer with ban appeal, i wont be asking here.
About 2 months ago, I got permanently banned from the platform without any particular reason, I don’t know why because I never got any penalty from ANYGAME before, this is the first time I got a yellow notification on steam. I assumed this is a “false ban”; I did some research about this and found out you need to submit a ticket about this false ban and the platform will unban you. Hence, I submitted my ticket. and completed forgot about this, Because I was under the assumption that this is a false ban. there’s nothing to worry about .But later I got an email saying “I got ban for breaking EULA rules across multiple accounts.” I got so confused, I don’t even know what I did to get ban in the first place, and they're stating that I broke EULA rules across multiple accounts even though I only have one(singular) account. I only play this game with my family member, who are also a loyal gamer .
I spent thorough time trying to get in contact with a DBD staff member and doing extensive research about this ban situation, and I find out the only way you could get permanently banned, is if you cheat, modify your save, Threat，usage of any third-party software, or abuse support services.
Before you get upset and toxic and start talking about cheaters always say they didn’t cheat, I need to make myself very clear here:
1. I didn’t cheat, nor have I ever cheated when playing. I also never modified my save, or use any third-party software. I just recently got a new PC
2. I bought this new pc specifically for gaming purposes, and have been using this pc for a year already. I only have steam. So there’s no way I could get ban for other softwares.
3. My steam account has gone 12 years without any indications of a penalty record. I've purchased so many games on the steam, there’s no reason to cheat and risk my account.
4. What support service? Is it possible that the user could be banned for reporting trolls or hackers? If so, that's an absurd reason to be banning users for something the platform claims to protect us against.
5.The onlything I type in game is GG
Day after day I have been trying to contact someone on DBD team about my situation, and I only got the same auto-reply, by the same person . I was never able to voice my concerns to an actual human representative. Eventually, I just gave up, because no one responded to me, and I could not receive the help that I was promised. I don’t even use this new gaming pc anymore, despite investing time and money into it. Because this genuinely upsets me, to have these false accusations and ban made against me.
About a half month after the false ban situation, my family member who plays this game with me started to use this pc to play this game. After merely 30 minutes of playing she also GOT PERMANENTLY BAN FOR
NO REASON WHATSOEVER, we found out this happened when you get hwid ban and we submit a ticket again for her account , and got the same reply about “breaking EULA rules across multiple accounts. ”
It’s been 2 months since that situation,not only their is 1 account with false ban, and the second one account and its has nothing to do with my account. I’m still trying to figure out what happened. I read this on an online forum:
Even you get a permanent ban you can get a second chance if you buy a new game with a new account and I got hwid ban directly ?? ( I didn’t do this because why should I pay one more time for no reason at all?)
This is my first ban ever, I don’t have any ban record in my life. They say you get hwid ban if you get banned 3 times. But in my case, the first ban it’s a permanent ban and a hwid ban. I don’t know what I did to deserve this kind of penalty, it’s looking like a manual ban by someone.. even someone trying to ban me shouldn’t ban my family member account, this is just ridiculous.
That sums up the ban situation. If this happened with a well-known streamer or YouTuber, they can provide video proof of their innocence because they recorded. But I don’t have any game recorded, not everyone is a streamer or a YouTuber. How can innocent people prove their innocence if they have no video proof? other way to say this, Why should a innocent people prove his innocent at the first place??Take my place and think about it , if this happen to you , how are you going to prof your inocente? Just started to record everything single minute when you turn up your computer ? ?

Sounds like you bought a hwid banned part from someone second hand.

Only thing I can think of, other than what the others said, is maybe (if you family share the game with your family member) your family member did something ingame that got him and therefor your account banned.
I don't want to accuse him/her of that, but maybe that is it?
