Why did Blight receive changes almost every month since his release but Billy hasn't since August?
This was the last update on Billy. The rest were fixes that do not count.

He received so many changes since his release & PTB, he moved from a B-tier killer to A-tier to S tier now. Blight is an S-tier killer and u can't tell me otherwise.
A good blight will dominate in 99% of the matches especially with the infamous Ruin+Undying+Tinkerer+BBQ combo which 99% of blights run and for good reason, it's a very good combo with very high synergy with his power.
I'm gonna come out and say that Blight might be the only killer who has received constant changes & major buffs almost every month. I might be wrong, let the community be the judge of that.
The favoritism baffles me.
Billy has been added on 14 June 2016. He's one of the first few killers to be released, and look how he's being treated. He has received the middle finger with every blight update. Isn't he one of the DBD icons?

His addons also received numerous changes, which made them better.
Why Billy's addons are still garbage and gimmicky while Blight's are directly affecting his power and are really really strong. Does Blight even have 2 or more useless addons?
- Heavy clutch - this addon can mess with your curves. Not only it decreases the collision with objects, but it affects survivors as well.
- Speed Limiter - you know why
- Junkyard Air Filter - Barely a noticeable difference. It's a brown addon, sure.... But still, this should've been basekit together with more steering.
- Off-brand Motor Oil - I've never seen anyone use this addon In my life. I've used it myself. It's terrible.
- Death Engravings - The penalty is too much
- Big Buckle - Why in the holy seven seas would you want your chainsaw to overheat? You never want that
- Mother's Helpers - gimmicky addon. Can be proven useful in certain scenarios. Requires Enduring to get max value out of. Besides, you don't want to be eating pallets as Billy in the first place as it can really set you back.
- Leafy Mesh - This addon, straight garbage. Anyone with 2 brain cells will realize where Billy is if the teammate got downed and his terror radius suddenly disappeared... You can lose all that time trying to find a hook.
- Death Engravings - very good addon, one of his best. However, the drawback is insane.
- Black Grease - When a flashlight shines on you, you get increased cooling rate. I'm not even gonna bother mentioning how trash this addon is
- Tuned Carburettor - This addon makes my blood boil. You may use this with one of the engravings addon and say "oh look, crack billy is back" Crack billy is back my arse !! This is ONE of the worst drawbacks in the history of DBD addons.
- Apex Muffler - Gimmicky addon. Barely seen it being used outside of gimmicky builds.
- Iridescent Brick - Gimmicky addon. Isn't this and Apex Muffler pretty much the SAME addon with different requirements?

My guess is it's because Blight is a character you pay for (unless you use shards of course) So the better he is the more people will want to buy him.

Blight isn't S-tier. He doesn't straight up ignore survivor defences like pallets and windows, and he gets weakened by a lot of maps - both the indoor ones and the ones with especially weird collision
Also blight has two useless addons and that's about it. There's some memey purple ones but they aren't terrible

Also, Billy is a Leatherface proxy. And with the money-making iWin button that is Bubba, why care for Billy? The devs truly are Billy's parents here...

I was playing blight daily during the crotch cam days. It was frustrating af the day they updated him and things that would normally work, didn't.
He is now a mix of way to clingy to some things and butter coated on others.

Some people buy characters for their perks.
- Plague for corrupt
- Blight for undying
- Bubba for BBQ
just to name a few. The characters themselves don't have to good or strong, they just need their perks.
I bought Plague for her corrupt & infectious alone and she's my least player killer. Bought Clown for Pop & Bamboozle. Bought Bubba for BBQ.

I get what you mean but I wouldn't even call it bugged. More they finished the animations at the incorrect FOV position and had to redo them. This isn't a bug as opposed to more so an oversight. Mind you I'm going by what one of the devs said on a stream but forgot who said this. Not regarding it being a bug but regarding animation work being done and would need to be redone to fix it.
I remember when they snuck in a few new animations for Hillbilly before any announcements of him were even made and it felt like they ruined his camera position. Playing Billy now feels like the camera is much farther ahead of the actual killer body collision and it's always awkward strafing around things with him now.

I have to hand it to anyone maining Blight. Super fun but losing a down because you just slide off surfaces or flat out run in place is worlds more frustrating then anything I've ever experienced as Nurse.

Billy's overheat mechanic has to go. Reduce it to atoms for all I care.
Nerfing the most balanced killer we had was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. The only "OP" thing about Old Hillbilly was insta-saw, and even that can be debatable.

The problem with Billy wasn't the charge time add-ons, it was the charge time add-ons STACKED. Only then was it overpowered.

I think part of that was also them genuinely believing even old base kit Billy was too strong.
They are the same people who nerfed pallet Freddy because they thought it was too strong lmao.
I don't think it's just a coincidence that they nerfed Billy along with buffing Bubba and then releasing Blight as next DLC.

I kept thinking that as well. What a funny coincidence that Billy got heavily changed and Blight came out shortly after.
Not mentioning they made Bubba as viable, if not more viable as Billy when the patch got out.

Its about time Billy gets looked at. Animations and POV problems have been left alone too long. Addons needs another update, alot of useless addons which you never use.
