Yeah no she isn't. The people who defend Spirit with their "counterplay" is it works if she's a bad Spirit. And survivors have no knowledge of what she's doing. But what do you think?

    Balanced? Maybe, when you look at the grand scheme of DbD, with its mix of strong and weak that all have their counters, even if it's just a good, old-fashioned genrushing as in the case of Spirit. If it's okay to make them weak, it's okay to make them strong.

    Fair? Not at all. Not at all. A top tier killer whose only difficult if you hold back on the perks and tactics? Nope. That ain't fair.

    Spirits who know what they are doing are nearly impossible to defeat, and that's not ok.

    For god sakes, Monto was easily downing Survivors with her while BLINDFOLDED LOFL. I am pro Killer and want all these pompous T baggers to die. However, her husk should appear different when she enters her power. This would be a great start.

    Stridor doesn't work. Even then, she'd get a 2/4 at most. Doesn't really sound that OP.

    Balanced? Kinda. Yeah, a good Spirit can down Survivors exceptionally fast but there's very little she can actually do if the Survivors all split up and are efficient on gens. However, is she fair? No. She gives essentially zero tells that she is using her power. As such, the survivors are usually just forced to try something and hope it works. Obviously, just guessing and hoping for the best isn't exactly counterplay.

    at least with nurse you can juke her by breaking line of sight, spirit can see your scratch marks, gains a free speed boost, and can normally hear your grunts of pain much louder. It doesn't matter if she can't see you if she can track you and hear you constantly

    I have won so many times just by faking a phase, I do think survivors should get some sort of hint of where the spirit is, maybe an outline like the wraith has, or just a louder noise notification. that way survivors know when I'm phasing and when I'm faking it

    Pretty much only against a very high level team in most other scenarios a match of equal skill is most likely to go to the spirit.
