The change sounds like a free escape to me. So I see it as highly probable.

at this point they may just buff keys to where only two gens have to be repaired.

I honestly believe the Devs won't nerf Keys because they keep the Survivor escape rate up.
Killers are averaging 60% Kill rate last I knew.

When they released kill stats last time @MandyTalk said that keys accounted for about 3% of all escapes, it's probably a little higher now due to everybody using them more because of the talks about changing them, but they hardly increase escapes rate at all, I barely see one key escape a day.

I don't think they always are. Didn't DS and OoO just get nerfed? Didn't toolboxes get nerfed? Insta-heals?
And didn't Blight and Wraith just get buffed?
I'm thinking you have a bit of perception bias going on here.

Intrsting that they account for so little but, Killers still complain endlessly about it. That 3% is just too much, I suppose.
I never bring a key because, I don't want to be tunneled and camped. I pass them in the Bloodweb as often as I can.

It took FOREVER for them to properly get nerfed and it's debatable as to whether the OoO "nerf" is even hard enough. KILLERS and their perks get nerfed... "RIGHT" one time. Look at Freddy... Again. Look at Nurse, look at Billy, look at Undying, and so on.

I find it so hard to believe that the key escape rate is 3% because I run into keys a lot as killer and survivors usually hatch escape.

You ask for a nerf, so survivors use all he keys they have before that happens.

wish I could've used all the moris I have before the nerf because it came without warning. Now I just try to avoid them in the bloodweb but sometimes I'm forced to buy it.
