BHVR, please optimize your game better for consoles
I'm getting really tired of the lag and frame rate drops when the smallest thing happens in game. A perk activates, someone gets hooked, I turn the camera slightly to the left, doesn't matter. The game lags at the most inconvenient times, especially during a chase. It really screws me up and causes me to get hit/down. Please, do something about this. I play on Xbox one S. I don't have the money for a thousand dollar computer.

As a fellow console player of the 8th generation, I feel you and it will not happen anytime soon. Give it another year then maybe they will think about us.

Perhaps you'd be interested in the following thread.
I use the Xbox One X, which runs EVERY other game I own just fine. DBD runs like ######### no matter what.

Yes I agree please optimize this game for the consoles. That goal from March 2019 to get all platforms running DBD at minimum 60 frames would be appreciated too.
To the OP's comment about not having a thousand dollars for a gaming PC, even if ya did remember there's no Cross Progression so you'd also have to rebuy the game, dlc's you wish to have, and any wanted cosmetics, plus regrind all characters from lvl 1. Not many players with thousands of hours and lots of $$ already into this game are likely to do all that again.

Even if they did have $1k for a gaming pc mine was like Ā£1.5k+ and can't run the game on Ultra (fullscreen, 144fps) without some stuttering š¬š¬š¬
Re2make? NiNoKuni 4k Remaster? REVillage? Cyberpunk? Consistently high frames and settings.

Even at 60fps it decides to tank randomly š¬
Even if it was because of programs (aka discord and Firefox) in the background it's a Ryzen 7 3700x with 32GB of 4-channel RAM, this should not be the case
So, yeah, I really don't know how people on console can even stand to play it. I used to play on a 10-15fps computer and then a 15-20fps laptop, as soon as I hit 60fps I couldn't go back.

Annoyingly, I expect this is something that will never be addressed. The reason being that the game runs absolutely perfectly on my Series X.
I still sometimes play on my Day One Xbone, and, yes, that can be a pretty painful experience sometimes. So much so, that now, if I'm playing on that console, I'll mosy likely be playing a different game altogether.
