Are you preparing for the event?
I'm trying to get as many different things put in place before the event starts.
I currently have over 3 million BP saved in the archives and will have nearly 4 million by the time the event starts.
I'm getting certain characters ready such as:
- Using all my flashlights on Elodie, Yun-Jin, Ash and Laurie. Giving one per game to my mates.
- Only putting points into my P3 Felix (he doesn't have all the perks yet).
- After Jill and Leon are released I'm levelling them up to Lv50 then using all their flashlights.
- After Nemesis is released I'm levelling him up to Lv50 and using all his point offerings.
This is what I'm hoping I'll have to start the event:
- 4 million bloodpoints in archives + 1 million saved + 90K in dailies.
- Leon and Jill ready to become P1 - these two I'm going to level and play during the event.
- Elodie, Yui and Laurie ready to become P3 - point dumps when I have no one else to level.
- Ash, Yun-Jin and Quentin ready to become P2 - level them all to P2 Lv50 and play them once I have Jill and Leon at P3. Otherwise I'll leave them at P2 Lv50.
- Nemesis ready to become P1 - for my killer challenges.
My objective is to get a ton of Gateaus on my survivors/killers. Hopefully they drop as often as they did last year but we'll see if they do. I'm being very particular about how I do this because I want certain characters to be my mains while also being able to use a Gateau every single game I play during the event.
So has anyone prepared themselves as much as I have?

Well,i saved up BP in the Archives aswell + rituals and will have another million ready once the chapter drops.
My plan is to get all three characters up to P3 before the event start so that i can use and save anniversary cakes + items while getting all perks on them.
After doing that,i'll try to get all the new perks on my killers and survivors.

Not in the slightest lol. I just trying to lvl up Blight, Trapper and Oni to start learning them.
But I have almost a million saved in archives and plan to save up 1mil BP and dailies to get Jill P1 fast.
Other than that, I am hoping cakes will help me grind several million BP to get some things done.
Hopefully we will see at least 4 cakes every single match and people focusing more on gaining BP than sweating their asses off and trying to end matches super fast.
Especially since BP events in this game are nonexistent outside of anniversary licenced ones.

I'm excited for event. But I don't see why you need to save bloodpoints for that? It will be like double bloodpoint event on steroids. Everyone will bring cakes every match and you will gain a tons of BP during event.

I'd say have one of your 3 killers just ready to prestige before the event starts. Then once it starts put all your Bloodpoints into them. This way your guaranteed to at least have 1 Gateau per game.
It's basically what I'm doing with a bunch of characters.
Honestly the game is extremely annoying so I'd understand why you wouldn't do it the way I am. As I said to the person about I'd just have a character ready to prestige before the event, then put points into them as soon as your ready to play after the event starts.
Even if you only have 500,000 you'll still get them to around Lv20 and hopefully have about 10 Gateaus.
Initially I was only saving bloodpoints for new chapters. However I really disliked the Twins and Trickster so I decided to keep the points I already saved in the archives.
Since I already have so much in the archives I thought "Why not use these during the event, therefore meaning I get more double point offerings". I'm hoping after the event I'll have 3 characters who have over 60 Gateuas each, each of my mains having 10 Gateaus and a few others having maybe 20 Gateaus each.
At the minute I don't have anyone I need to spend points on. When the chapter drops I'll dump all points I earn into those 3 characters before the event starts.
During the event I will literally be using a Gateau every single game no matter what. After the event I'll pretty much be able to bring double points every single game also for a few months.

We must be lol I like to be efficient.
If my character is P3 max perks I will never level them till an event or till new perks are released. Just feels like a waste otherwise lol I don't want to play any games during the event without me bringing at least a bps.
Elodie is an example of this. I want her to be P3 max perks by the end of the event, however I also want to get value out of my flashlights. So I'm playing her now, using her flashlights and then I'll prestige her at the start of the event. I'll level her up a bit before I start playing her.
I couldn't be like you guys lol I need to get maximum value of out everything. It's why when I'm in the exit gates I'm immediately like "ok now I can get some extra WGLF stacks" lol

I took all my killers to there next prestige most being P3 now. Been working on this for awhile. Not worried about having abundance of BP as I didn't last year and did just fine. I would like people to participate more instead of save them I really don't see the point in not playing them when you have the best odds of getting 525%. If we all get 525% every game we will get way more cakes then we can use during the event assuming like you said they appear like last years.

This is like me, I never prepare for events...I'm also useless at saving BP cos I like to spend them after each match whilst waiting in lobbies!

Yea I hate people saying them. It's a lot better people using them during the event, then getting more in bloodwebs.
Like I could spend the 4 million I have saved now or when the chapter is out but I see that as a waste. Like if I wait a few weeks then all these bloodwebs will have an event item or a gateau (which is what I want more) lol which is better for everyone else who plays with or against me

No that I get. I just meant I had to use an ass load to get them to P3 ready for the event so don't have any saved up. I get what your doing and it makes sense I just didn't want a bunch on a character that I wanted to prestige having them P3 means I can start getting all the perks I want it going to be a good one. As for the saved thing everyone can play one every game and have plenty saved for after because of the amount of BP they would get. Especially with WGLF and BBQ on top.

The only preparation I am doing is getting all bloodwebs of my survs 99‘d so I can get started grinding through bloodwebs for event items and offerings immediately. also BPs saving, but I guess those will be stuffed into Jill, Leon and Nemesis…

I'm dedicating my event bloodpoints to the potential Claire legendary skin and either The Plague or The Twins.

I'm getting a bunch of characters to level 50 and eating up their addons so that I can prestige them at the start of the event, then level them up and get tons of cakes along the way. (I've never been here for an anniversary before, but I assume everyone's going to be using cakes during the event, so bloodpoints won't be hard to come by.)

I was meant to leave my Elodie P1 Lv50 till the event but while drunk on Saturday I prestiged her. I like to spend bloodpoints in lobbies also and that's why I had to prepare myself on who I spend them on, and when.
Oh believe me every game I play in this event I'll definitely be running stacks if I can lol
Since I'm prestiging characters like Jill, Leon, Ash, Quentin and Yun-Jin I unfortunately may not get lucky enough to use stacks as often as I'd like.
I actually forgot about 99%'ing my bloodwebs. This is something I'll quickly do to my mains when I get home lol

Not just for the event but in general I do this. It probably looks like I'm being cocky (I don't t-bag don't worry) letting the killer hit me out the door but it really is to get a potential 2 more stacks lol
If I'm healing a friend at the door I'll 99% them then stand behind them and get hit. Usually will get me at least another 10k per game.
Leaks have said that there is 2 legendary skins coming with the chapters launch. One being basically confirmed as Chris so I'd be certain of Claire.
That's the spirit (not the broken one) lol yea the last few anniversary events people just use gateaus immediately. I'd say every game has at least 3 gateaus.

i think i have 1 mil saved in the archives, 1 mil from the BP cap, 90k in dailys, and 600k from the shrine (dailies and shards are being used for leon, jill, and nemesis once they come out)
imma get them all to p3 lv1 and then grind the hell out of them for anniversary cakes/items with the archives BP

Well, if I am in need of stacks then I will just go for some sick saves with BT and thats it! Wish we still had the old WGLF, good times when people farmed each other every single time.

Plague everyday of the week just purely because of perks. You play any other killer in this game and you'll guaranteed be using either Corrupt or Infectious Fright in your build

When I play survivor I have more fun using a flashlight than using any other item. Just getting a flashlight save feels extremely good and rewarding.
I basically will never prestige a character if they have a flashlight on them. I usually play till I die but in this case I'm giving them away to a few friends who I know will use them a lot.
Better play a character who has bps then. Help out the other players your playing with lol

Yeah, it was an effective way of farming. Gotta get those stacks, even if it costs the lives of your teammates :)
Also, one thing I did was getting Bloodpoints if one character then spending them on another.
When Freddy got reworked, I didn't feel like playing him as much as I used to, so Claudette became his sugar mommy so I could get a few perks I was missing at the time.

I've been keeping my BPs around the 900-1m mark so that when the RE chapter is released I can level up Nemesis but that's it.
Can someone please explain to me the thing about using up flashlights?

yes. I have every tome (minus tome one which I did) pretty optimized and I have 2 45000 quests ready to turn in (trying to get a thrid).
I havent done the math, but I think I have about 10 million bps with all of the tomes 2-7, give or take, with a million bps. I just got these naturally, for the most part, and didnt turn in based on other peoples work... so it wasnt terribly hard. That being said, I also got all killers that I hadnt to 50 and most survivors. I was gone for almost 2 years... so I was in a unique situation, but it was fairly simple with ~500 hours of play over the past month or two to level up (no worries about prestiege).
I will say this.... it is sad to see that the game has not reduced the price of items on bloodwebs, allowed items to stay when you prestiege ( and perks) and reduced the size of bloodwebs.
There are over 50 chars in this game in a week and spending 2000-4000 hours to get them to p3 for purely cosmetic reasons ..... is very very poor thought out game design. There is little to no advantage for p3, it should not be that hard.
Doubling bloodpoints and cutting the price for items in half is a start.... but should be in addition to not losing offerings or perks when you prestiege... or if you have to lose them, get them back at the rank you had them, to avoid even more waste. Also reducing blood web size so you get to 50 faster. IT is only cosmetic..... stupid to make people grind for hundreds of hours per character. Especially with how sparse bloodhunts are.
double the bps given, cut the items price in half, dont lose stuff when you prestiege.... its only for cosmetics... its not hard.... with how much the game has grown... to stay updated with the amount of content you put in.... by realizing its become exponentially more grindy with all the new additions.

Yes, i cant play right now because my account is at 1 500 000 BP. And everything i use right now, gets deducted of the cap. Of couse i also have the 3 dailies and the tome ready. I am waiting until the event drops so that i can pump everything in Nemesis making him a point bank.

I've been saving BP since the new years event. I have over 3 million BP in the regular pool. A few million saved up in Tomes as well. Plenty of shards to buy out the entire shrine as soon as Resident Evil hits. So I'm chilling on like 7 millionish BP currently.

Yes. I dont have many BPs saved in the Tome, because I am actually leveling up my Characters all the time.
Before the RE-Chapter releases, I will save up 1 Million BPs and some Dailies. Before the event, I want to bring Leon and Jill to P3 at least and if possible, Nemesis as well.
The rest of the grind will be done with Cakes, but I fear that Survivors will once again get less Cakes than Killers (especially because there will be another Anniversary Item, meaning that the odds might be lower... Last year it was already 1 Cake at max per Bloodweb while Killers got around 2-3 in every Bloodyweb..).

Yes. I hoped something like this last year as well, I want 1 of each on every Survivor, but mainly I want Cakes. And it was kinda annoying to do like 2 or 3 Bloodwebs for 1 Cake last year. :/
