Does anyone use Sole Survivor?
This perk, from what I understand, used to have decent synergy with Object of Obsession prior to 4.7.0 if your teammates were dead, but since they changed Object, it doesn’t have that synergy anymore. Is it really all that useful at all? I’m at a loss why I should consider running this perk over, say, Distortion, which tells me what aura perks or add ons a killer is running?

No one uses it. It does nothing until someone dies and even then, the reward it gives is super situational. I recently made a thread on what I think could be a good rework for it but it got no comments.

The only time I've ever equipped it was because of adept Laurie

I did use it one and it did help a little but I didn't like the fact that I only got use out of it when someone died. It need to be rework especially since the perk it was supposed to synergize with doesn't anymore.

Its a terrible perk, doesnt do anything as it was designed to be paired with old object of obsession.

It's already situational enough with screams and killer instinct ignoring it, requiring people to be dead to work, a lot of aura perks working at a distance so it doesn't even affect them, and it's not quite long enough to block Nurse's Calling at 1 token, but to top it all off the reason it was made in the first place (to work with Object) is now irrelevant. This perk is long overdue a change

Yeah, I definitely think the perk needs to be reworked too. Hopefully they change it soon.

It still has synergy. It reduces how dangerous OoO can become as teammates as die.
I still periodically use SS because I hate Wraith/Myers/Pig wallhack add ons, I’m All Ears, and Nurses.

It needs the Dying Light treatment. Instead of giving tokens when survivors die, it should give tokens when survivors are hooked. Like for example give 8 meter radius of aura protection per token.
Basically then need to make it like Fast Track, but for auras.

I'm sure @TheClownIsKing would be happy to give their take as the only Sole Survivor user in the world.

I actually included in one of my builds and ran it for longer than I’d like to admit. Hearing the little “ding” noise every time my teammates die was the only enjoyable trait of this perk.

It is useless. Even before and after new OoO I've never seen it used. Well that's a lie in my whole time playing DBD I've only seen it 5 times all baby Lauries. Not even with old OoO. They've finally got her two other perks into a good position though. It's time they do the same with Sole Survivor it's a bad perk with a bad plays style they should change it.
