MMR got watered down
Before it was creating sweaty matches, now its creating rainbow matches.

When MMR is active these ranks don't do anything.

The Rank shown is not going to make sense under MMR because it doesn't use the old rank system so we may well see a mismatch of colours in the end game.

My first game on as Blight (the killer who I 4K with the most) I got a 4K with 11 hooks with survivors only getting one generator complete.
Last time MMR was active I was having incredibly sweaty unenjoyable matches, this time it's the complete opposite.
Need to hop on a survivor game too tbh

Ok, so far i´ve had 4 survivor matches. All were pretty chill. Even got my Jeff achievement.

Huh. That explains why I just ended up in a match with rank 16s (that played like rank 16s, unfortunately.) Match was half red ranks, half yellow. Probably time for me to try and get some of my missing adepts... I wonder if I can get adept Nurse despite being horrible with her and one hundred percent reliant on plaid flannel? Because my MMR rating with her has to be awful.

The Rank 9 was obviously tunneled out of the match it was unlikely they were ever going to come before someone who got to last 5 minutes into the match.
Also not sure what point you're making, are you implying you've NEVER been in a match and scored less than someone with a lower rank than you? lol.

Give it a litle bit of time. I'm sure things might feel iffy at the moment but it will hopefully get in place after you do several matches

If i understand correctly, ranks doesn't mean anything, it depends on 'skill' only.

maybe if they're also red. but almost never someone thats a different color
if i get put in rainbow ranks i pretty much always outclass

First game I ever played as Demo. Well, I can safely say that the MMR does take into account when it's your first time as a killer... honestly, this is just cheating. Oof. I think the game shouldn't go quite so back-to-zero with new killers; you'll still have basic mechanical skill that's unanimous across all killers save Nurse. It should factor in a bit of your average performance and start you off there, not at beginner ranks.
I'm amazed I got the adept, because it was a very "unhooks? what's that?" kind of team, in true grey fashion. Laurie died on her first hook and David and Bill both got left to progress to second stage. I had to farm them a bit and give them chases where I left the downed person to be picked up by someone else in order to satisfy the emblems. Plus they hid a lot, so it wasn't really a nonstop slaughter kind of match. I guess that counts as taking pity on them... I let Dwight do a few totems in front of me, so hopefully I wasn't that mean.
I'll be interested to see what ranks I get on my most played killers, because I score high with them, but my kill rate is really low from often letting everyone go.
