the new MM: 24h test a dream, a few days test (until now) really realy bad...
question is the new matchmaking really online? (I know that bhvr posted it on twitter) but I mean there is almost no different than without MMR
the test of about 3 months of (24h test) was just a dream good survivor good killer (nurse, spirit and don't ask me why but plague) but they were all very good and was fun, they all had a thousand hours of play (was very fun)
MMR test (a few days), until now a catastrophe, the killers are very bad and the survivor too (the worst was now a clown who was overwhelmed only to give me a hit on yamaoka ("meme builing" the big building where mostly has no window and no pallet at all) I just noticed that he was just overstrained COMPLETELY, and got a mate with 14 hours xD
I mean how could the first test (24h) have been so good, but the current test will just be a disaster ??? xD either the new matchmaking is not active or bhvr has done the same thing as with the hit validation
only with the hit validation it was the other way around, the first test was bad the second was very good and the full version is a disaster
MMR, test was great, the 2nd test (the current one) very, very bad, pretty good job

You have come to this amazing and well balanced conclusion just only a few hours into the testing. Wow, if only everyone worked as fast and efficient as you did. Kudos.

I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, OP, but the MMR hasn't been active a few days. It got activated 2 hours ago.

I'm guessing right now there's going to be a lot of imbalanced matchmaking until whatever system they have active right now collects enough data to be able to put people in the correct spots. At least that's the only thing that really makes sense cus I mean, it's not like the system went live with all the data already pre-emptively collected. Give it a bit of time for it to figure things out and just think of this as being an early rank reset.

The dbd devs said that the mmr already collected data in the background for a long time and that it could predict the outcome of a match in a consistent manner.
So if you now play a role (survivor) or a killer that you played a lot in the recent time, the mmr should have collected enough data in the background already to match you appropriatly.
So, unless you play a role or killer that you didnt play a lot in recent time, the mmr shouldnt need to adjust itself.
That beeing said, it doesnt work at all for me. I am a very competitive minded player, almost 2k hours, play both survivor and killer rank 1since like forever, and played many matches today. Both as survivor and with my main killer i got matched against either complete beginner or bad killer.
I know that it is just my experience and that the mmr works well for a lot of people too.
Honestly, i was kind of looking for a reason to quit dbd anyway(anyone with several thousand hours probably asks oneself if you should continue to spend time with the game), so if the mmr stays like this for me, i ll say goodbye, which is fine too.

so i have tested enough now and still say it is a joke compared to the test before, ask bhvr is it really on or did you just announce it ? xD
no matter I prefer to play crossplay off until it is done as well as in the test about 3 months ago
if i play killer then the survivors are so sorry with 100h, they had no idea what they were doing, were completely lost am main survivor and as a killer ok but people who do not have as much experience as me is just so btw they were on Cowshed a really good pallet every 5m and the poor have just turned on 1 gen
