I have an idea
And it's probably a bad idea. But, hear me out.
VR for dead by daylight, I think it would actually turn it into more of a horror game. However, I know this seems like a God awful idea, but I thought it would be a fun idea

No. Just no. You need to move your camera too fast. You'd get whiplash trying to play normally

That's such a good idea. You intellectual.
When people stare at the horizon that's all they see but you see the future.
Next we need dbd in space.

The reason most VR games put you in a closed space is because of like motion sickness or something, that's why minecraft VR was a big flop

DBD 2 maybe, It would be a real horror game, but you would get nausea after every single match for the high speed at chases and the camera shacking.

You have a point

Omg, I remember when my little brother tried that. He vommed everywhere.

Dead by VR would be fun and awesome, but should absolutely be a custom game exclusive thing.

Heh, I know
Though, on a serious note that would be interesting is if they ever did a dbd 2, which... we all know won't happen, they could implement that system into it, obviously it would need to make the game slower if that makes sense, that way it won't cause too much motion sickness and any actual physical injuries. Hell, a slower dbd might be interesting in an itself as well. Don't know too much about that however

This post was very much a joke haha

It would very much fun, though they'd need to slow the game down by a lot in order to allow this to work properly, in doing so it would make more of a horror game as well

That's actually not a bad idea, like you get to explore everyone's memories, stop them, kind of interact with them, and explore all of the trials

Seeing as to how the greatest problem with VR is open spaces and motion sickness, what if the mode only has indoor maps and stealth killers?

Eh, I hope they never consider it.
First of all, this would only work for Killer. They are first-person. As Survivor, VR would not work, first person would be looking into a Gen for a long time, which is boring.
Then... I dont think it is a pleasant experience. Like, countering a 360? Oof. Getting hit by a Pallet with the Screen shaking to the ground and up in a short time will also not be really enjoyable.
And last but not least, the theme of the game - you are running around, murdering people in first person AND VR. I dont know where you live, but here videogames have a reputation to be responsible for everything bad that happens. Like, there is a gun rampage? Oh, and the guy played Counterstrike? Yeah, thats the reason.
It got better over the years, but still, if something like this happens in my country (luckily it is very rare), there are always people who want to blame videgames for it. And I dont really want to see DBD as the next game which will be a target for it. If the media is bored something like a game where you play a supernatural Killer to murder people will easily be a topic to abuse.

I think this would be fun but cause a lot of people to have motion sickness and might be difficult in chases.
