Adept challenges are annoying
So we all know how the ranking system sucks, but ive been doing adept killers and have gotten a few but i didnt get oni because of an endgame one shot and what the game considers as camping. It was so damn close that if i had hit one more person i would have gotten the achivement. Thats also what makes adept plague nearly impossible unless you get really bad survivors. Complete bs and like hell they will change it

if it is so annoying to do that why just dont do it? I personally have over 4k hours but never even did 1 adept achiev cuz I dont give a damn about achievs tbh.

And a lot of people do give a damn about them. I feel like a sore looser when I didn't complete some old one yet.
Same goes to P3 killer before it becomes playable. Not having a P3 killer and going for all perks feela like "You are doing it wrong".
Some people are completionists and want everything to be done, others can survive on scraps.

Never said otherwise. I feel the same with p3, I have also every Killer p3 before I started leveling them for perks. But I cant understand the achievment because the emblem system just doesnt really work, you sometimes get for no reason worse embles, infact there are so many complains from ppl that are outraged because of the emblems not working properly sometimes. So in that case its questionable imo. For p3 you just do your thing without a third party system to allow you to get it, you just do it yourself but for adept you have to pray that you get the emblems you need.

Adepts worked fine before they were tied with the emblem system.
Because of that there are few major factors that limits how you gonna get it and restricts your play style in a specific way.
1) Instant down powers are a nogo, unless you slug a lot and let them heal up.
2) Finishing it with 4k too fast is a kogo, because you didn't farmed enough chaser and hook emblem yet.
3) Survivors rushing gens too quickly is a nogo because gatekeeper emblem.
4) if you are in reds, good luck, you need to sweat a lot more because merciless now requires basically all iridescent emblems (you will get all 4 iri more often than 3 iri and 1 gold).

Adept Plague is not hard my friend. I had to show effort but it was not hard.

Well after a while yea, but being rank one with little plague experience on ps4 with only a few guides its not easy

Its pretty stupid that killers adept is so much more limiting then survivors.

I just got Adept Hag an hour ago. I'm a rank 1 killer so it was hell. I got demolished most tries, and the games where it was close I got ruthless killer where all I needed was a tiny bit more Chaser... It was infuriating and I will gladly never touch Hag again.

Because some of us are achievement hunters, or we just want to be challenged. But this is not a challenge of our skill, it is trial in error because of the horrendously designed pip system.

If you mean the one where you have to teleport and hit each of the four survivors in one game, I randomly got that while trying for Adept. In Midwich, I believe. They were all being super altruistic and triggering my traps near the hook.
And I know excessively trapping the hook sucks, but I can't play Hag for sh*t and it was the only way I didn't get destroyed. I'm glad it's over.

I find it funny that to get them you have to kind of play as a basic m1 killer. Also don't end the match too fast, you're doing too well there. It's weird they never changed it because playing as a basic killer with no power isn't really you know, being adept at that killer's power. And I feel ya, I tried for adept Myers and kid you not, had -2 for "proximity to hooked survivor." Sorry I am not the Nurse and cannot teleport away instantly.

Iv got every adept to date, but a change is needed... atm it's just luck based and not really on skill. Iv never quite understood why you couldnt use a 4th perk... either way at the very least it should be like the tome challenges of getting a 3k using their 3perks.

Just wait until rank reset and do a couple killer adepts you havent been able to complete. They are easier to get at lower ranks due to what is considered a double-pip on the emblem system. I am on ps4 and this recent rank reset glitch, which put me back to 13, was heaven for this.
I now have them all except Oni and ghostface

Well since rank reset takes forever i just abused the mmr and finished them all off lol. Oni was surprisingly the most annoying to do, even when i never used my power the chaser emblem was so hard to get
