Jokes aside, this was honestly a very good and subtle way to explain to players why Hillbilly players were getting matched with new people.

I love how they shared what the bug was. You know that the people at the office had a good 'seriously!?!' coding moment over this when they found it.

Joking or no, as usual when people use that term around here, that's not spaghetti code.

Anyone that ever did any sort of programming will tell you... these are just the worst!
so easy to make, so annoying to spot...

That's not... That's not spaghetti code.

As was said already.. that has nothing to do with Spaghetti code at all and is a typical bug that can occur in literally every software developement..

True. This is why the rubber duckie test exist.
Rubber duckie test is basically reading the code to an object or something and you can realize your mistake. Or least thats what i do.

It's amazing how often that works. Sometimes I call up my BF to describe a problem to him that he has no understanding of, and usually find the solution halfway through describing the problem.
Brains, man. They're weird.

How much did it cost ? Ahaha... for a freaking typo !
By the way, I know this is not a proof of spaghetti code. Chill out, you devs 😜
But let's be honest for 2 seconds, how many bugs are due to small typos or big side effects ?
I say this with no ill intent : I would be curious to know how they work at BHVR.

No clue but it must have been really annoying for them lmao
I'm guessing it happens quite often since it's easy to mess up a name but I'm not a dev so I wouldn't know lol
