Adept Nemesis is hard
I've tried at least four games, with 4ks and the closest I get is Ruthless. So if you are attempting Adept just know his power can end chases quickly in indoor maps, and that if you do so, you don't get that many points in chaser. And his perk eruption is good but is difficult to use, this is what I've learned about trying to adept Nemesis

Adept any killer is hard
9 -
Do his emblems work correctly, or are they bugged like Trickster's were?
0 -
Eruption outta make it easier since it's a slow down perk technically.
1 -
Virtually none of his perks are really useful, and none of them are particularly useful on him.
3 -
I never considered that part, they might be, i did hit survivors a lot with ith the most I struggle on is chaser, so maybe
0 -
Its probably going to be tough but I enjoy the challenge.
0 -
one perk is literally wasted in the first seconds of the game, and he relies on indoor maps to win
1 -
Yeah no #########, Devs make it easier please
1 -
I just played 2 matches as him and switched to survivor.. it looks like it will be harder than trickster adept but who knows, he feels really weak in most cases and you really are playing without perks at least the trickster have decent ones.
0 -
I did it on my first try, ONLY because I played like a complete douche. Gotta admit, though, felt rather good. All those times the last week when I was blamed for Hitler, Covid, and Kinder Eggs being illegal by survivors, now I gave them something to cry about.
2 -
I'd say its equally as hard as Freddys'
0 -
Did they really? thats pathetic as hell, pitiful even, also good job on getting it first try.
0 -
Second game i won my adept. How he was hard? Nemesis is strong killer and ending chases early.
0 -
Oni has the toughest adept in my opinion. Truly hellish to complete.
0 -
Nah, exaggeration. You know how survivors will scream to high heaven over the survivor rule book, and claim you broke every tenant in it if you win. Just feels nice to actually do everything they cry about, and get something from it. It dealt with a lot of slugging. I mean a LOT of slugging.

got in in my second game. Not as close as trickster's adept

Oh I thought you were serious I was like 'damn they really are salty.' I get what you mean, yeah best not to reas EGC, ( I say as I read EGC)

I got it on my first try but I got lucky (and went out of my way to 3 hook everyone). His perks are pretty mediocre but he seems very map dependent. Go to the right map (try Swamp or Ormond) and he can hit survivors over everything.

The best maps for him are indoor maps, given zombies are more helpful, and his tentacle can't hit over anything

Dunno, I've got adept on my first try on the Crotus Penn. at R2
Played one more game with his 3 perks and got another merciless, this time Father's Chapel...
All of his perks have some uses, dunno how people complain about them being useless.
Lethal Pursuer allowed me to quickly disrupt 2 guys on a single gen, followed the survivor running towards spawns of other survivors, so I could easily switch targets on the go.
Eruption allowed me to regress gens and keep them from popping twice in a crucial moments, as survivors werent able to repair them after being hit by the perk for 12 seconds.
Hysteria worked once, didn't try to make it work more It gave me a free hit on a guy repairing a gen. This perk will be better on other killers rather than stompy ones..
Adept wise, first game required me to slug last guy for almost full 4 minutes, as Leon was hidding and not trying to open gates nor were nowhere near the hatch. Luckily, he was wounded and healed up, logically.. basement chest. I was right and he traded with the slugged guy (zombie downed Leon, as it camped the slug at that moment).
2nd game was much harder, also ended with 5 gens done and required 3 man slugging at the end with some trades.
All perks but hysteria were on t1, hysteria t2. First game used zombie speed addons and second game was zombie detection range.

Chaser is the stupidest emblem. End it too quickly you don’t get it. Take too long and you don’t get it. Every time I go for an adept I never know if I earn an iridescent in that category because it’s just so undefined, and using your special abilities will hurt you in this department with certain killers. Its very aggravating.

At this point they should award you for how fast you down them

Just got mine, took about 3 matches of nemesis to get. Not too bad on my end.
0 -
Okay the fact that people are getting it and having an easier time then I am is making me depressed,
1 -
Could take your frustration out on the zombies. Those suckers are worth a decent amount of points.
0 -
I do so yet it still isn't enough
0 -
I just got mine, I don't usually go for adepts this early but I like his perks a lot.
0 -
This was my experience
I got 3 4ks with ruthless (gold chaser both times)
Then 3 more matches which were 3k or less :(
Ill try again tomorrow

It took me four attempts to get it. Still nowhere near as rough as Trickster's.
0 -
Got it on my 2nd attempt on Balanced Woods

They're probably thinking about how they were on the PTB. They were mega buffed since then and in particular removing their basic attack requirements is great for Nemesis specifically
0 -
I hear you dude. I haven't buckled down and went for the adept on Nemesis yet. but I have a friend who get's adepts like they're nothing and he's a god like survivor too for some reason. Right now though he's getting super pissed at the game for what he calls unfair hits and stuff that I don't even see.

I have all previous Adepts but agree Killer Adepts should be simply 4k using their unique perks. The end.
All this sodding about to get the right level of emblems is a load of hickory smoked buttock meat.
I nearly got Adept Nemesis...but the little darling got the hatch.
But Adept Nemesis is definitely doable. It'll just take time. On a positive note, It will be a good opportunity to practice with the killer....that's if this the awful ps4 lagging and teabag-clickers don't ruin the experience.

It honestly shouldn;t be this hard and a part of me isn't trying because of the damn emblem system
1 -
I did Adept Nemesis in 1 game only.
0 -
that's the main problem with killer adepts. they rely on the emblem system to get them. Survivor adepts don't
That has made some killer adepts insanely hard to get.
0 -
depression increased
0 -
Adept Nemesis is largely hard because you are running 2 perks for 99% of the game and Hysteria is just bad. Eruption is okay, but Nemesis struggles to justify spending time kicking gens when he can struggle to get quick downs with his power.
0 -
your basically relying on his power, don't use his perks thats what I do
0 -
I just got the ADEPT, thank th ######### lord, I'm never doing that again
0 -
And his power at the start takes 3 hits to down and if you ever miss you eat a huge stun. High risk and meh reward.
Like if his power was stronger it wouldn't be a huge deal having meh perks. But having both an alright power and not so helpful perks makes his adept hard at times if you are facing good survivors.
0 -
Lol. I wonder if that could have been me. I got adept Jill because I got to the hatch literally a split second before Nemesis by pure luck. He seemed to know exactly where the hatch was, I didn’t and it opened within hearing distance. Were you at the Yamaoka Estate?
0 -
Which is precisely why the adepts for killer need to change. They need to accurately test your skill at using killers unique powers. Otherwise it’s just like earning the same trophies for adept M1 killer over and over and over again.

I've tried it once, but I got annoyed that survivors can sidestep to dodge the tentacle. And zombies don't really do anything unless it's an indoor map. I think Lethal Pursuer needs something else to it. I also think the tentacle needs a little more range to it or at least more consistency with hitting over objects.
0 -
If you’re on a gen then zombies can be annoying and something you have to do something about. I kept having to lead them away or crush them with a pallet a couple of times. At the bare minimum I now finally see some value in equipping Any Means Necessary. But yeah in indoor maps zombies excel. I had to push through one and take a hit in a narrow corridor upstairs in RCPD in order to save someone on a hook.

I mean I can see when they are strong and why they can be, but on maps like cold wind or Mother's dwelling it's just irritating.
0 -
No it was McMillan.

I just got adept neme on fractured cowshed pretty much basement camped and hid in the cornfields lol its def not easy with him being so big but it is possible if your patient and the survivors are ultra altruistic
