Please do LITERALLY ANYTHING about the perk grind.
I've seen dozens of good ideas around how to handle perks now such as:
- Axing ranks 1/2
- Allowing us to target perks by choosing a killer/survivor to make their perks appear more often
- Allow us to buy any rank 1 perk we want, thereby forcing its rank 2/3 counterparts to spawn.
Its really getting to be such an aggravation having to farm the same perks over and over. Honestly, I shouldn't have to sit here and contemplate that maybe I should have spent the time to unlock BBQ and chilli on all killers before unlocking any other teachables. Or Ruin, or infectious fright, or any of the other 2 dozen meta killer perks. Or go 2 million BP dry fishing for a singular perk.

Or alternatively, just remove tiers, it's a simple fix but it would cut down grind DRASTICALLY. Why they haven't done that yet is baffling to me, literally it would cause less work for them as they could make perks like Rookie Spirit better because they wouldn't have to make some arbitrary stat that scales.
Think about it, without perk tiers, Rookie Spirit could just work whenever a gen is regressing without having to do skillchecks; not only making the perk better, but also saving time and points by not having to level it. I know that's only one example, but both sides could benefit from a massive overhaul like this.

OP did suggest removing Perk tiers, "axing ranks 1/2".
I definitely think it'd be the right move for the game as a whole. The only possible concern is that it cuts out a lot of progression for people who don't own DLC, but:
- The game has multiple systems to enable people who haven't bought DLC to earn the content through gameplay
- The overlap between people who want/need lots of things to grind for in this game, and people who don't own any DLC through either progress or purchase is most likely very low
This game launched with I believe 47 perks, it now has 179. With over triple the Perks from launch, we really don't need them split into Tiers nowadays and it generally just makes the game worse, especially for newcomers.

The grind is still going to be there for people who don't own DLCs, they're still going to have to get perks off of the Shrine and then level that into their survivors/killers.

Yes, I would be happy even from a small change... just anything to show that they acknowledge it really.
BTW, make sure to login into DBD to get 300k BP, then complete the new tutorials to get another 200k BP. like 20 minutes of work for half a million BP right now :D got my nurse from like 12 to 31
