Everyone is complaining so much about these bugs. Do they suck? Yes.

But I have seen person after person attacking Behavior and you know what? It's so uncalled for. By keeping this up, you'll make the team want to stop giving us amazing chapters like these.

Of course there's going to be bugs with the release of a chapter. There will always be bugs with the release of a chapter. They can't possibly find every single bug before they release it. Plus, their testing is only with a fraction of the player base. You can't expect them to test the game with a small amount of people and then release it to thousands of people and have there be no bugs. It just doesn't work like that.

Relax. They WILL be fixed. You don't need to be playing DbD 24/7. Let them do their job, thank them for their work, maybe go outside for ONCE in your life, and then come back when it's finished.

If you don't like these bugs every chapter, then just stop playing. Find a new game. We don't want to be a crappy community who hates on the developers. Making games is hard work.

TLDR: if you're mad about bugs, just find a new game. There will always be bugs at first, stopp harassing the developers.

EDIT: y'all I didn't say you CANT complain or be upset, I'm saying stop harassing Behavior, stop sending their team threats, I've seen so much of that. You can be upset but be civil and don't threaten people.

I am on console, and like I said earlier, bugs suck. It's okay to be upset about them, but I have seen so many people on this forum and on Twitter harassing the developers.

They didnt screw up at all. They just can't get every single bug in testing because there isn't the same amount of people in the server as in the regular games. And even if you do consider it screwed up, they've been working on fixing them right away

I've been playing since release, and I've seen the game improve a lot over time. Additionally, harassment is never called for.

no one's forcing you to buy the DLC. You chose to buy it yourself despite knowing bugs occur often after chapter releases. Plus, the game WILL become playable. Just give it a few days and I'm sure many of the bugs will be solved because the developers work hard

It didn't break the game, they shut down the servers so they could fix the bugs because everyone was complaining. It was playable before, and I know because I played multiple games (on console, where most of the problems were) and I could still play.

I won't say that anyone here doesn't have a right to be pissed, nor will I personally tell anyone to stop complaining. That said, I do wish that the forum in general would try to relax a little bit and give BHVR some time to work this out. I know that isn't fun and doesn't feel fair (and maybe it isn't, that's not for me to say) but being wound up about it isn't going to make the problems get fixed any faster, it's just going to keep everyone upset.

I'm not trying to be condescending because I've been here before (as obviously many of you have as well). It sucks. But at the moment there's nothing we can do. They're aware of all of these issues - VERY aware - you can bet that there are even more vocal people sending them reports and emails that would get people banned here - so really the best we can do is try to de-escalate and just accept that it's happened while waiting for a fix.

My rig is twice that amount and it still stutters. Any other game, and it's high res graphics packs, ultra settings, 144 framerate. DbD, it's always Chipotle night.

it's genuinely unacceptable at this point. i shouldnt have to stick a ######### tower fan in the side of my PC just to play this game without passing out from heatstroke.

I respect your response. I didn't mean for this post to be condescending to anyone other than the people who I'm talking about, which are those who are harassing and threatening the team.

Like I said before, bugs suck. It does suck we have to deal with it. And it sucks that we have them despite PTB, and of course I'll hold the team accountable. But they have already fixed the problem (DBD servers are up again and you can now play). Again, it's hard for them to catch all the bugs in PTB and there will be new ones upon release because of the different server size. You can be upset about the bugs, but harassing and threatening people isn't okay. And I think you are focusing on purely the times bugs haven't been fixed from PTB to release, because there have been a lot of bugs that have been fixed.

The 24/7 thing was a joke. Obviously.

I said thank the developers because I'm sure a lot of them are under stress. You can still thank the developers and be upset at the same time. Here's and example: "I'm upset about the bugs and I feel that you Behavior developers need to do better, and I expect you to do better, but thank you for working on fixing them in such a timely manner." It's not that hard to be civil and respectful. It's not so black and white.

I'm not trying to silence those who are upset. They can speak. But those who are harassing and threatening others are ######### people and they do need to stop doing that. Plus, may I remind you that harassment is illegal? Those who are so upset with the game that they are resorting to violent behavior like harassment need to stop playing. Them resorting to illegal actions that can mentally harm a person (which the developers are) is not worth it. Those are the people that need to stop playing. Additionally, no one is forcing people to buy DLC. Those who are complaining and are upset don't have to spend their money on it. If these bugs are such a known problem, these people should know not to buy the DLC until the bugs get fixed. No matter what, the base game will still be playable. But if people are getting so upset time and time again, there are other games they can play that are similar. By moving to another game, they can stop supporting Behavior, which many seem to want.

You think people want them to keep giving us chapters like this? If anything you're encouraging them when you say that they'll make the team want to stop giving us these "amazing" chapters (heavy sarcasm on the "amazing.")

Not that I condone threatening employees or whatever, but telling people to just stop playing is one of the worst things you could say. I'll never understand when people are so simple to say this, that they don't understand no fixes = no players = no money for the company = no game for you. Not to mention games that shrink in popularity tend to get increased queue times (we already see it in individual roles, with killer or survivor queues getting long or short depending on certain changes).

Please edit your post or something.

Edit: Speaking of editing posts... No, when I say "fixes" I do not mean "fix these current bugs." I mean fix what's causing all these problems. It's not just "oh, silly post patch day bugs again." The game is literally unplayable for certain people, the new map that was on the PTB for like 2 weeks or whatever gets taken down day 1 of launch and people don't even get to play it. These are things that indicate internal problems. Those problems need to be fixed.

As much of a fan I am for this game, this is the WORST optimized online multiplayer game I've ever played in my life.

Bugs are just one problem. They also added ANOTHER killer that is D or Low C tier, but somehow still not fun to play against.
