The Resident Evil Chapter is...interesting

I've decided to put more hours in the game with this RE Chapter because I love that franchise so much and when I saw it was coming to DBD I was both excited and worried...

Since the chapter released I've encountered an increased amount of bugs on both killer (my main role) and survivors (which I play casually) the game keeps crashing for me constantly and I get penalized for getting kicked out of a match I was winning as Spirit yesterday and it got me so angry! Why are we here? Just to suffer?

The Nemesis is very MEDIOCRE, his power is just a worst version of Pyramid Head's Punishment of the Damned with a few gimmicks like why can't he injure a survivor with the first attack of his very slim tentacle? The zombies are the most interesting part of his power but I wish there could be more of them with add-ons, Nemesis definitely need a slight buff.

I know BEhaviour is not intentionally making the game an horrible experience for us players because how would that keep us playing but I wish they would work as hard to improve the gameplay as they do with the cosmetics which are very creative (most of the time) but too expensive and never almost never goes on sale. I heard the classic Very Rare Jill and Leon now set outfits are the same default heads for 400 AC each which is pretty scummy even for BEhaviour, non-legendary set outfits for the same character shouldn't even be a thing.

I've been trying to be a more optimistic person with the help of my therapist so I'm gonna be more patient with the devs to fix the game up before the Anniversary Event on July 1st.

I don't think there's much we can do but make noise, trust, and wait. We as players don't develop the game, but hopefully BHVR values the game enough to at least keep it playable. Otherwise... Well, I think the next step is quite obvious.

It's pretty ridiculous. I actually really like Nemesis but the amount of bugs this chapter has brought along with his joke of an "infection" just doesn't seem worth it to me.

I never would've thought I'd see a chapter as bad as a Binding of Kin again, but here we are.

It's almost as if Nemesis infected the very game itself...

No problem. Just trying to add some levity to a crummy situation. :)

Thing is tho, Nemesis is fairly fine. He is a strong killer with good map pressure and essentially free info(if his 1v1 was stronger, the zombies would need to be removed).

His power is a bit... non-intuitive. Which is by far the worst description you can give to a power. His visuals dont match up with the mechanical side. It mostly does, but there are walls where you can reach over, and then 10 meters further there is almost the exact same wall, and it cannot reach over. All other killers at least have consistency there, they have in-game confirmation on why your hit didnt land. Either it chips away something, indicating that you actually hit an invisible hitbox, or it shows the hit pass by the survivor. On Nemesis? It's unclear when you dont hit a survivor. Could be a hitbox in the way, could have been a bit too short, or heck, you could even have overshot it and went over the survivor. No way to tell the difference.

As for you being kicked out of a match, since it refers to the 15th, I'm assuming that it's the steam server maintainance.

The thing I would definitely change to Nemmy is to actually give him the ability to injure with his tentacle in stage 3 regardless of infection or not. At least in stage 1 and 2 there are some balancing reasons to consider, but in stage 3? He would have needed to hit 16-18 zombies(I didnt count, but it felt like that) or 5.5 non-infected survivors to reach stage 3, so from a balancing POV, there is no reason to not injure survivors with his ability. That's like not giving Myers an instadown on T3 and instead giving him the ability to keep stalking survivors.
