Is Breaking Pallets Worth 3 Hits?
Title.
Because Nemesis's best power is breaking pallets so fast. But cost is he has to hit 3 times (2 sprint to survivor) for that. Or he we will not use him power and he will turn m1 killer. Is really worth it? Lets talk.
My opinion: It wont worth it. Because;
- We have some killers hits behind pallet (Huntress, PH, Trickster, Plague)
- We have some killers makes pallets unsafe (Freddy, Clown, Spirit, Trapper, Hag)
- We have some killers breaks pallets so fast (Billy, Leatherface, Blight, Demo, Oni)
- We have one killer rejecting pallets (Nurse)
All of killers on that list can down survivor with 2 hits. Some of them have insta-down. So how exactly Nemesis's power worth to 3 hits? Because pallets are already not problem for most killers. Because of zombies? They are also braindead. So why 3 hits? Can anyone explain please?

I think it's worth it for one reason, and that's because although he starts off slow, over time he becomes stronger and can two hit survivors.
Zombies are useless if you just let them roam free and never try to chase survivors near them, but I've had many times in my already few games where I've seen a zombie on a loop, forced a survivor to run into them and I attack with my power at around the same time to get 2 free hits.
He's like a combination of myers and pyramid head. Yes he starts off slow like Myers, but you have to use power to get stronger regardless of that slow start, as not only is his power extremely forgiving (as survivors can run back into your talk to get hit) but it also saves a lot of time in the long run when it comes to breaking pallets.

The thing is though that you can negate up to 8 hits by Nemesis without being healed by someone else / having a MedKit. So you have to go through the Sprint Bursts for multiple times.
By the time you reach your highest power level 1 gen is left because all survivors have to do is hold W. Especially his first chase is god awful. He can't break pallets with his power, has low reach and can't even hurt a survivor. So you either have to give your first two victims a free Sprint Burst into freedom or you decide to become to a M1 killer.

Yeah people don't seem to realize that his tentacle can hit you and break a pallet at the same time unlike Huntress, PH, and Deathslinger. He forces you to get into a situation where you drop the pallet, get hit and lose the pallet, or don't drop the pallet and go down anyway. He has potential to be the best looper other than Spirit and Nurse cuz they're atypical.
Also his tentacle is way stronger than PH's shockwave attack because it doesn't give you a warning and you can't dodge it unlike PH.
The zombies are also a nice bonus and are admittedly RNG dependent but when they work they work really well, camping hooks, generators, and people healing.

I think no sprint burst when contamination would solve alot of problems and make him quite a medicore Killer imo.
2 -
Problem is generators are not slow and we are not on low ranks.
Survivors can take 8 free hits (8 sprints) and after that Nemesis can hurt them with tentacle.
Him counterplay is seriously so easy. Just carry one vaccine with you. If he is try m2 you, run around pallet and walls, that hurts him so much. If he try m1, break pallet and keep run. And ıf you get m2 once, use vaccine when you can. And you have one free hit too. That is ridicilous. Which killers needs 3 hits for get survivor down? Any good survivor can make Nemesis busy for minute or more. And generators will fly.
So clearly no, that's not worth it. I played as him +50 matches and i faced with so much Nemesis. He is max C-Tier.

I think you've only been against bad Nemesis players. Most loops are not strong against him because he hits through pallets and low walls.
1 -
That's why I mentioned playing with your zombies to make it easier. And loads of killers have that weak start up. Thats why I compared him to Myers, not because of them both having 3 tiers to their powers, but they both give a slow start for a strong end game.
You have no chance at winning against anyone if you remain an M1 killer for the trial. That's why you have to get your power up and running early when there are generators to be done and pallets to go around.

Most them were red ranks and no they were not bad killers. Nemesis's power is ridicolus. You can keep him busy before he gets power. And when he got power, it is so late. Because already so much gens finished. Without slowndown perks, Nemesis is unplayable.

Agree to disagree I suppose. The only match i havent 4kd was a rush squad on Haddonfield so I'm holding my opinion to low a/high b.
1 -
You think is problem having or not having 4K? I can take 4K with Trapper. Is that makes Trapper super killer?
0 -
You can't always just play with your zombies though since 1) their AI is really bad and 2) 2 zombies on maps like Red Forest are basically non existent. If they wouldn't have auras for Nemesis then you'd probably wouldn't even know they spawned until the end of the match.
I think his infection state has too much draw backs and slows him down too much. Same as Myers, there's a reason why he's at the bottom of the roster.

You know the speed burst survivors get doesn't matter if you don't chase them.
There are 3 other survivors out there.
Why not bother them instead of chasing the survivor that was able to to get to the nearest safe structure within 50 meters
1 -
If you can 4k with Trapper then that's great, but Trapper is not only heavily add on reliant, he also hasnt been out for less than two days.
0 -
Yeah but Trapper is not good. If you get 4K with Trapper, that is mean you are skilled killer.
Same for Nemesis. If you have 4Ks with him, that's mean you are good at killer or you just faced with potatoes. Because good survivor teams can destroy Nemesis. But good survivor teams can not destory Blight, so many times i finished them as Blight.
I have map mobility as Blight. I am so fast. I can finish chases fast. I can break pallets fast. So why i have to play as Nemesis if i have better option? I am not saying make Nemesis strong like Blight. But Nemesis needs little changes. And i already posted it:
- Infect hit is ridicilous. Survivor gets sprint and makes chase so longer. 3 hits = 2 Sprints. And gens flying. Infect hit has to not give sprint. Problem solved.
- He has not any map mobility or pressure. He has to trust zombies for that. And zombies are braindeads. And some maps are so big, zombies are so weak on this maps. Fix AI. Make 3 zombies for big maps (Coldwind, Red Forest, Swamp), 2 zombies for normal maps. Problem solved.
- Remove T3 because 1 meter range is nothing. And good survivors can dodge tentacle so easyly. Add 1 meter range to T2. T2 will be him max level, there is no reason to show effort for T3.
- Fix him tentacle hits because so many times palet breaking but survivor had to get hit, not pallet. That is bug.
This changes will make him better and playable.

Seems like you’re just bad with Nemesis and manifesting your frustrations into saying he’s a weak killer, when he’s on the same level as Doctor, Freddy, etc.
2 -
The weird thing about the infection hits is that there is a baked in mechanic to reduce the speed boost survivor get. Infection hits inflict the Hindered status onto survivor wich reduce their speed by 20%... for 0.25 seconds.
So out of the normal 2 seconds of 150% speed when hit, survivor will run a 130% speed for a quarter of a second. Why even bother ?
But on the plus side it mean the mechanic is allready there and can easily be tweaked with simple number changes.

Seem like you are survivor main and you are happy with new weak killer. Enjoy my dude.
2 -
I am a survivor main, but before I was a killer main, I’ve seen both sides. I don’t want weak killers in the game, and heavily advocated for buffs to EVERY bottom half killer. Check my post history.
Nemesis is not even close to being weak, his tentacle power is just demanding, and will take time to master.
Also, no, I’m not happy about going against Nemesis. I’m bored of the anti-loop killers, and would’ve preferred a completely different power. That said, he’s a good killer.

Nah he is not strong like you are talking. He is weak. Survivors can take 8 free hits. 8 free sprint. He has to choice m1 them or m2 them and give them escape chance. Maybe on low ranks, that is not problem because survivors scaring to do gens. But on high ranks, good survivors wastes so much times. Generators are flying before he got powers. Even he get power, he still needs 3 hits survivors.
That is reason i will keep play as Blight and Freddy. Both them stronger than him. And both have map mobility. So i am not gonna lose generators.
2 -
I mean, I’ve seen him reach tier 3 in less than two minutes, it’s not this unreachable goal
0 -
Even with T3 you still need 3 hits. That part is makes him weak. Which killer needs 3 hits except Nemesis
2 -
Plague can need as much as double that, depending on how much vomit hits survivors. Legion can’t even down survivors with his power. Trickster needs to hit survivors 16 times.
0 -
Plague can also need a third of that as well if a single glob hits a fully infected survivor(Whom she may never have even vile purged due to cross infection) for a down.
So plague hit wise is so all over the place that its kinda irrelevant.
Also trying to bring up trickster for why extra hits being needed/Not horrible is rather self defeating to say the least.
1 -
But his tentacle cannot hit a survivor and break the pallet at the same time though, it's only one at a time.
2 -
Don't break pallets. It's a free hit every time they vault

I'm glad people are getting it
"Wow he can hit over pallets, he's gotta be A tier for sure!"
Yep nothing like spending my early game and losing gens to give myself a decent anti looping power. Totally worth the trade off.
The fact that people even suggest him to be high B or low A is mind crushing. What do they think of other killers, how is he better, what are they seeing that i'm not, are they joking? How anyone rates him above people like Doctor or Phead makes me wonder what the hell is going on in their games. Does everyone just run into him to feed him his power, run into his zombies and then just drop pallets without thinking?

Considering people are complaining zombies are free hits, they probably are running into zombies.
And the funny thing is that I've watched people run right pass my zombie and the zombie takes too long to attack them so they miss. So they aren't even reliable for hits either.

Im up to 77 games on him at this point. My zombies had a big impact in one game. They have gotten the odd hit here and there but more often then not they are tracking tools and nothing more. Who are these people that think zombies are amazing and what is happening in their games

Zombies are most times useless. But once it was so fun:
I was chasing Feng, she was dead on hook. And i hit her with m1 before she jumped pallet. Zombie was behind wall and when she jumped pallet, zombie turned corner and hit Feng. And she down and dc'ed. Man, that made me so laugh.

They are funny as hell. When they wonder to just the right place at the right time its hilarious. Too bad that is inconsistent as hell and up to random chance. Most of the time my zombies are just going for a walk where no one is or stuck in some rocks.

Maybe devs have to add ability for Nemesis, now he can call zombies into him. So in chases Nemesis can use this ability. And zombies can help him more.

What?! Didn't you know he is low A tier!?
