Wraith definitely needs some nerfs
Nothing seems to trigger me more lately than hearing that bell on my tail. There is no skill needed in spamming M2 for a cloak and uncloak to get a free long range free hit. It is every time he is hidden around a loop, uncloaks and moves around a loop at mach speed that's uncounterable. You can’t gain distance, he body blocks windows because they move so fast. Wraiths will play hit and run because of their uncounterable lunges. They’ll smack someone, leave you alone, return in an inconspicuous location and uncloak for an unavoidable down. I thought his bell was for being sneaky, not free hits?
He has a bloated power with tremendous map pressure and a huge lunge. Why does Wraith have an exemption for this kind of advantage? Combined with addons and perks, especially 1-shot perks like Dragon's Grip and Make Your Choice and you have something unfair. It's too much. His bell was once a sign he is about to be stealthy, now it’s a sign you are about to lose no matter what. His add-ons on top of all of this is OP, way more than other killers. Most Wraiths love that All Seeing addon. No downsides. Why does Amanda’s letter have a downside to her aura addon (which makes it a little more fair) but Wraith doesn’t? This addon alone is overwhelmingly OP! Please make this addon so it tremendously reduces his movement speed and slow him down after an uncloak. Because wallhacking in a hide and seek game is a huge advantage.
He needs slowed way down and greatly reduce his lunge so it’s a little more fair.

Longest post ever just basically asking for a revert. Lol. Also he used to not have the superlunge. Big surprise weakest killer in the game pretty much. Same with the windstorm base. Fix all seeing blood if ya must. But leave his base alone.

Wow. Never though I'd see the day where I relate to Sluzzy.
I don't think Wraith needs any nerfs, but I do agree he takes barely any skill to play and is boring as #########.

The amount of complains wraith gets lately make me ever more sure he's in a perfect spot right now.
It took years of small buffs adding addons to his basekit but finally, it seems he's hit the sweetspot.

I like how Sluzzy has never complained about Spirit or Nurse before but only makes threads complaining about things that aren’t problematic.

I don't care if they nerf the purple all seeing add on and his windstorm add ons as long as they leave his actual base kit in peace. They did a great job with his base kit rework.

And years of survivor nerfs, he went from a fair and fun killer to being very OP

When you call something OP it's basically always not a problem. Go make a thread about real issues insted of at best low B tier killer.

And Decisive Strike wasn't a problem, but we see what happened! And so many other survivor perks. Toolboxes ruined. So killers get what they want, killers are now overpowered with so many buffs. 1-shot perks galore. Unplayable because killers are winning way too easily.

No it wasn't. Aura and 1-shot perks are a bigger problem.
There is no killer perk that punishes them for playing the game. All give huge advantages for playing the game normally.

I do agree with one thing here that All Seeing Blood should be nerfed. Old Wraith it was fine because Old Wraith sucked. But with new Wraith not needing Windstorm it should be nerfed. That's something we can agree on.

No Old Wraith was awful. Use to be in the F tier with Myers, Legion, and Trapper.

That really says more about the average survivor quality than anything :D We never lose more than 1 person to these Killers unless we throw for the funsies or they get extremely lucky. They are F tier. Well, unless they face solo players that can´t loop and listen to music while playing lol, in that case every Killer is S tier haha :)

Kill rates shouldn't judge the tier of a killer then Blight who you said is OP needs buffs since he has a low kill rate. Old Wraith was awful needed good Add-ons and Perks to stand a chance with low base mobility speed. And lunge. And devoured by good healing perks and exhaustion perks. Myers is terrible his early game might be the weakest in the game. With no significant advantage to tier 2. And Tier 3 easily counterable by playing cautious. Since he has no mobility or way to eat pallets. He's saved by his add-ons. And good perk combos. Even then he's beatable. Trapper can literally have his power denied by a trap too far away. And literally disarmed by survivors and has the worst base in the game. Legion is the worst in the game since literally basic survivor knowledge like spreading out to avoid snowball. And not healing to focus on gens. Counters Legion also they have no way to effectively down a survivor.

The problem with Wraith is that he was always good vs newbs, but very bad about good loopers. DEVs made him even better against potatos, but he's still bad against good survivors. He didn't need more invisibility, it only helps to down potatos, he needs something better against looping.

He shouldn’t have collision when cloaked. This would make for much more interesting gameplay than the boring block window or pallet then lunge and hit rinse and repeat.

The biggest problem with These kinds of threads is that either the poster is either a person like our sluzzy that mained the solo side so hard that they can only be called the power role and once they play survivor they expect the same success without regard that the number side is way more dependent on the teammates and shouldn't be equal in the 1vs1. Or people that main survivor and most of their killer experience comes from the 20% or less of their playtime that goes into killer and keeps them in yellow ranks were killer of course are stronger.
Both version warp the perspective into hardcore bias.

Obviously fun is subjective but balance wise he's currently the most balanced he's ever been with maybe 1 or 2 addons needing slight nerfs or reworks

that would also be an absolutely massive nerf to him. Body blocking is a fairly essential tool for him to use to make up for his long uncloaking phase by limiting options the survivor has.

With all nerfs you want to killers, in a survivor sided game the problem is not the killers. Practice playing survivor there are lots of vids on youtube to help you on your way.
Wraith is B or C tier. As survivor I would have no problem with Wraith getting more buffs. As bad as he has been for so long he should be A-tier.
