All I ever see is BT, sprintburst, DH and Unbreakable. I mean mix it up. it isn't fun. 'oh look there they go again, running off.' them, 'waa killer tunneled'. well yeah, you unhooked then ran lol. of course i did. sheesh.

I think I kinda agree. Players should really step outside their comfort zone and try new perks. I did it and I had fun and I even found some nice underrated perks like off the record, detectives hunch ect.

Typically what I do is run 2 comfort perks and then 2 whatever perks to break up the boredom

When Ruin Undying was the peak of it's popularity, no one switched to small game or detective's hunch.

When people complain about inefficient plays in solo que, and i tell them to run kindred, they refuse.

Survivor's want their second chance perks and when called on to adapt, will instead complain on the threads so the game adapts to them.

Survivors gravitate towards the perks that give them the biggest chance of escaping. It's the same reason most killers run Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ and Chili, etc. Personally, I like ratty builds like Quick and Quiet, Head On, Spine Chill and Deception, but the meta will always be BT, Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, yada yada.

They don’t give much perks to really make much of a difference outside of anti tunneling perks. Killers have perks that can take the entire game hostage.

what would you have survivors use? No mither, slippery meat, maybe premonition? Lol.

Survivors I've noticed like to run builds that are counter intuitive to their own flaws as a player. How it makes sense...I have no idea. But I see it a lot when I try to help survivors by offering them perk solutions....they just ignore it, or make up some excuse, or whine. It really is amazing. You got survivors running around who clearly have issues knowing where their team mates are, knowing where gens are, finding totems because they don't like dealing with ruin or noED.

But I guess in their minds crying is more viable than actually finding a solution....

Okay but let's be fair here, if you're playing against 10 tunneling camping killers in a row, are you really expecting the average person to continue trying out a meme perk when DS/Dead Hard lets them actually play the game longer? I'm not saying you're wrong, most survivors do nothing but the same build the last few years. But BHVR has done very little in the way of giving them better or equivalent perks. Same with Killers. Most perks just suck... badly.

I see your a locker person. I once saw someone use a build similar to that and what they did was they would pretend to enter a locker with deception but then actually enter another locker right near it with quick and quiet

I would love to see perks locked to certain characters and yes even killers. It could help with balance and variety i think. I understand the point, there isn't motivation to change it up or they are just selfish and want to run self preservation perks over something that may help the team.

Its not like killers are creative either, usually running Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer and BBQ.

Oh but some times they like to spice it up with some Corrupt, maybe Pop even. Just like how survivors spice it up as well some times :)

Yep, it's a really fun thing to do. I love memeing around in the game, but the build also has decent practical use as well. Getting head on saves, or using it in a loop where the pallet is gone so you can get to a safe area, it's a cool build, just not heavy on support for the team.
