Why do all bubbas play so toxic?
And why does the community accept it just because it’s a bubba player? Literally every single game they get that one survivor in the basement and the camp begins. Also, how is that even fun for the killer? You have a one hit down chainsaw and you choose to ruin the game for all playing. Why is it mostly seen on this one particular killer over all the others?

However I disagree that all Bubbas play that way, I know I don't. I would suggest that if this has happened to you that you not run toward the basement while being chased or if you see a teammate in the basement you not follow them down. Do the gens and leave.

How are they playing toxic? Camping in basement as Bubba isn't toxic and however you formulated that opinion is wrong. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it "TOXIC". You are also not the one who can dictate how the killer plays to have fun. Maybe they like having chill games where they down one survivor and stay near them the entire time they are on hook.

Oh ok. I forgot this is killer main central on here. Fact is it’s a crap way to play and only serves to take the game hostage. However, I’m sure that idea is lost on you. Bubba main? It’s toxic and something you usually only see on bubbas and rank 15-20 killers with zero skill.

When all gen are done you can try to interact with him you still have all the resource the map has to offer so you can get some point in the for the chasing emblem so you can get a black pip

Almost every one I face has done this. Wraiths too honestly. I hear that chainsaw and just want to be in any other lobby. I’m always much happier when I see Billy over bubba lol.

As others have stated, it's pretty obvious; it's really easy to Face Camp with Bubba due to the nature of his powers. It's likely that the person that is camping you as Bubba would camp you with any character, it's just really effective with Bubba so they gravitate to him.
I do find it silly as I play Bubba constantly and he's incredibly powerful but so many people just settle for one kill sitting there rather than going after others. But I can only control my Bubba, not theirs.

Bro you need to chill. This is definitely not killer main central. Alot of people here completely disagree with you on your opinion because they know it is a bad one. Doing this never takes the game hostage. Again where are you getting these ideas. There is a 2 min timer on hooked survivors. That is 2 mins for the rest of the team to do gens or throw themselves at the killer. Sorry to break it to you there are killers of all variety that camp at all different ranks.
I will reiterate what I said earlier. You do not dictate how others play to have fun. If a killer wants to camp they can and its not considered toxic. If a survivor wants to chase the killer all match or play really immersed, it's not considered toxic. That just how they play to have fun. These is a PVP game and therefor while one side is having fun doesn't mean they have to change the way they are playing so the other side can have fun too.

So because a player "might" lack a certain amount of skill at the game and play how they can, they are considered toxic. Good to know. I guess that Meg that keeps missing a skill checks is toxic because they can't hit them every time. I guess that claudette that is hiding because they are not comfortable taking chase is toxic. Because in some weird way, Bubbas and Twin players never learned how to play efficiently. The excuse is usually "I'm always getting gen rushed on Bubba/Twins" Which is crazy to me cause....I mean you wouldn't be getting gen rushed if you weren't camping and actually hauling ass on the map, and bring a damn slow down perk.
But ey, what can you do about it? Some of these new killer mains are embarrassing for the culture, and as entitled and whiney as some survivors. /shrug All you can do is teach where you can and hope some of it sticks.

I haven't faced a camping Bubba in ages so i suspect you are at low ranks where that is more common. You will be glad to know that at higher ranks it becomes far less of an issue, not to mention you don't even see that many Bubbas there anyway.

I'm sure the people that to basement camp with bubba only do it for the memes at this point. For everybody else, why would i not take advantage of a survivor mistake and my ability to instantly down anybody coming for the rescue. Survivors need to respect the basement and bubba a bit more if they don't want to live down there with him. For the record I don't think bubba is in a good spot at all and is a chore to play against but i can understand the logic behind it.

Defending the basement chest is pretty fun when I want to have a chill game without worrying about gens or chases. Even more fun when survivors just run into my chainsaw.

Now you are moving goalposts.
"Taking the game hostage" is defined as performing an action that would make it impossible for the game to end. The only way a killer can even do this, is by body blocking a survivor in a corner when endgame collapse isn't happening.
Survivors are the ones who do this far more often when there is only 2 of them left and they hide for 20 minutes hoping to grab the hatch.

Let me end this thread: Don't get caught. Let go of Shift + W; use stealth instead of running everywhere. When you know you're facing a Leatherface - the best hook defender in the game - whatever you do don't go down near the basement. And last of all do gens.
But what won't help you is blaming your opponent for playing to win. Your fun is not important to anyone but you.

To be fair more people need to start doing this because camping Bubba HAS become all but a meme at this point and it's apparently not going to stop until players quit feeding into it. It sucks to be that person on the hook (which is why camping sucks) but the only way to discourage it is to stop feeding into it.
That said, yeah, it would be nice if players who used characters like Bubba and Wraith did something other than camp hooks for easy wins. When you can pretty much guarantee that every experience against these types of characters is going to play out the same way it starts to make for a pretty dull match.

I did get a camping Freddy last night that was really annoying. But that doesn't happen often, I have to admit that I find Freddy to be a relatively frustrating opponent because most of the players who use him are skilled and play more unpredictably.

It's not that all Bubba players are toxic, it's that toxic players gravitate towards Bubba and that's why there's a disproportionate amount of nasty ones. He's such a meme, and he's so effective at tilting survivors by preventing any form of altruism, that you see players who deliberately want to farm salt play him instead of other killers. He's also good for players who aren't very good at chases, because he's phenomenal for turning a single hook into several kills, especially in lower ranks.
Others might have different experiences, but Bubba's the killer that's kebabed me the most, camped and nodded, and prolonged 4-slug games for the ######### of it. (Well, barring Huntress on the last one, because with old Iribelt, that was another toxic favorite.) If it were just strategic uses of his power to proxy hooks and sweep multiple survivors at a hook, I'd be less jaded towards Leatherfaces, but I've seen many Bubbas that were overtly malicious in addition to more of them being proxy campers than active chasers. When playing, I'll always note the difference between a killer who camps a hook at some point in the match because they seem to have a reason to (which I can usually discern), and a killer who camps as their main strategy. Lots of Bubbas fall in the second category, for one reason or another.

A camping Freddy truly is a rare experience. But then again, it always was. He was never a good camper.

Effective is the word not toxic. Basement is Bubbas strength and he is supposed to kill survivor, not to party with them.

I love going against Bubba mostly because he's really bad. Any loop with a window just destroys him. If he starts camping just don't rescue that guy, it sucks but it's the smartest thing to do.

It's not fun when survivors tea bag and toy with you at the gate. That's what killers think. I'm a survivor main and it's funny when they do it to me.
Survivors and killers are not friend they do what they have to. To win it's hard for both sides

I play a good deal of Bubba, but I never camp as him. I find it more fun to use his power offensively. Bubba eats pallets a voraciously as he eats survivors.
Not literally every Bubba is toxic. That's a hasty generalization.

This isn’t that simple, MANY players just kill themself on hook after 30 seconds and then he moves on to the next survivor. So gen rising doesn’t work when it’s now a 3v1 versus a face camping bubba

Bubba is not fun to play or to play against either way. If Bubba play the chase game or the camping game is up to the player. Fun? Rocket League is fun there is nothing fun about DBD.

Maybe because he is only killer who can down both survivors at once. Okay Oni is capable to do it but that can happen once in 100 games. Bubbas basement is the place you don't wanna be in but ######### happens. Just go to next game and forget last game.

Not every Bubba does it and its easier to deal with now. Just keep messing with him until he tantrums then unhook. He doesn't get his tokens back until the tantrum is over.

Ah you're welcome. There's a difference between losing because the player was cheap (Wraith, Bubba) and losing because the player was good with a complicated character (Freddy, Pyramid Head).

I have been up against some pretty damn good skilled Freddie's. But I do see alot of them not use the generators to their advantage. I rarely see a Freddy fake coming out of a gen. That is an awesome jump scare lol.
