Some ideas

Hello guys. This topic is to present some ideas I have about the game that I'd love to see implemented.

First: Every char can use any 4 perks in the match, what makes the choise of the character indifferent. I can choose to play as Claudette and use all 4 perks from another survivor. My idea is to force the first slot to contain a perk from the character it's chosen. In the example above. if I chose to play as Claudette, the first slot has to contain one of Claudette's perks, and the other 3 can contain any other perk, including the noob package: Decisive Strike + Dead Hard + Borowed Time

Second: In the end of the match, we should be able to see which character players used on the match. Maybe between parentheses after the name, or maybe the picture, like it is ingame. It's already shown ingame, I don't see why it can't be available in the after match too.

Well, I'll start with these 2 ideas. Let me know (gently) what you guys think about it.

Idk what the second one is, but hard no to the first one. You'd only see one or two survivors, and that's not even mentioning killers.

It affects killers more than survivors because of the diversity in their power. I dont think it matters for survivors like, at all.

I don't think you understood the idea. You can use any perk on any char, the only difference is that one of the perks would necessarily be one of the char's perks. The other 3 can be any perk in the game. Why would that interfer on the variety of chars played?

I did. And I'm right. Doing that will just force people to not play characters with bad perks. You'll see no Jeff's, no Felix's, no Elodie's, no Neas, no Ash's, no Pyramid Heads, no Trappers, no Wraiths, no Onis, etc.

People would only play characters with good base perks, because otherwise they trade 25% of their build for playing their main.

The second one helps us to send feedbacks to good or bad players. I find it very hard to remember who played with which in the after match just by the names.

The first one doesn't improve anything indeed, but it's more to fix an issue. It's not reasonable that you can use a char, specially survivors, just by it's outfit. The perks should be take in account while picking a char. It's less of a problem when it comes to killers, because they have different powers and stats, but survivors are all the same the way it's today.

Really? How? So far I know you can see the name of the players on the scoreboard and the chars running on the right side. I don't see any info about who played who

Second idea is already in the game. You go to Settings and then choose "Match Details" and it lists who played which Character.

First idea would just create a Meta for Survivors. Characters who will get played often will be David, Meg, Claudette, Bill, Jake and Laurie. And basically every other Survivor will not be played, like, why would you play Ace if you have to choose one of his Perks?

Like, I main Nea since forever. I have every Cosmetic on her, so I even put a good amount of money into her. But I dont use any of her Perks, should I be forced to play weaker Perks to keep my Main or should I be forced to switch the Character, because my favorite Survivor got weaker?

Every character should be forced to play with his 3 teacheables and 1 additional perk.

That would change the matches a lot.

Restricting players for little to no reason is rarely a good idea.

Forcing survivors to pick one of their perks causes so many issues while fixing none
