I'm wondering about the first contamination hit, if it's a bug or intentional

One addon says about increasing the hindered duration, but the speed boost negates this

What do you mean? Like if the speed boost is intentional on a healthy noncontaminated survivor? Yes its intentional.

Hindered in general isn't working right now.

It's intentional but it definitely needs to be changed. Merely infecting a survivor shouldn't give them a speed boost imo.
