Tired of This #########
I just wanted to play a game of Nemesis and instead I have to deal with this self-righteous arrogant #########.
I didn't even tunnel, he got grabbed off of an unhook and missed his DS, then DC'd.
just for the record, yes, DDoS'ing is illegal.

So you tunneled him, but because he failed ds this is not tunneling?
8 -
Jesus what a #########. Sorry for you having to deal with him dude. Did you report him by any chance (that's if you can)?
12 -
I'm sorry, man. That sucks.
I apologize if this is off-topic, but doesn't attempting to unhook a survivor deactivate DS? Or did the devs not fix that? I know if I interrupt an unhook and get stabbed for it someone's getting a controller through the eye socket.
12 -
That's your takeaway from the post? Not the fact that OP got DDoSed, which carries a hefty penalty should you get caught?
Also, looks like reading isn't your strong point, considering OP said he grabbed the survivor while they were grabbing another survivor off the hook. That is no where near tunnelling; the survivor made a risky play that did not pay off.

how did h3e get your ip

Is this a console thing? I haven't heard of anyone getting ddosed on pc in DBD. I've also had my fair share of salty survivors.
0 -
It's easier to do on Console
2 -
He was the one who went for the unhook. I ignored him when he was unhooked and downed his rescuer. He immediately came back and he got grabbed.

Just one word: Disgusting

It's people like this who take a fun experience too seriously. Sure, it must be frustrating to miss a DS skill check and get hooked because of it but that's no reason to get this upset. At the end of the day it's a video game and you can always go another round. I hope this experience doesn't affect you too greatly. Cheers.

I missed a test, but I already spoke to my professor about it and she was surprisingly understanding
2 -
why not turning off DMs
0 -
Ah yes.
0 -
If he really Ddossed you, PLEASE go to the police. People like this shouldnt get away.
3 -
Turn off messages if it annoys you, if you want to tunnel don’t expect anyone to be nice.
1 -
Afaik, on console if someone sends you a message and you respond they CAN get your IP somehow, but i dont know how.
I just heard it multiple times already.

Ok, I am genuinely curious now. What did you say to her? That you couldn't make it in time because an ######### complained after missing Decisive Strike?
1 -
People like this I just ignore & eventually block if they keep messaging me. Considering you didn't tunnel, they send this to every killer who so much as looks at them.
0 -
I hope you had enough on him to report him for the DDoS. Those bitter slugs need getting rid of.
4 -
On Xbox, there is a 3rd party website that logs your IP.
They don't need to message you or have you join a party. It's in a database. Only way to get it removed is to pay a fee.
3 -
Firstly, didn't tunnel.
Secondly, even if I did tunnel, I'm not asking for people to be nice, I'm asking them to not commit a federal crime,

I showed her the screencaps, plus my current internet status and she said it was fine.
She's probably 40-ish and appparently, her son plays Siege, which is infamous on Console for it's booting issues. I'm pretty sure she just asked him what it was XD
3 -
I will, if he does it again.
He's probably just some pissed teenager, and I don't want to literally ruin his life, but if he does it again, I don't have much of a choice.
One of my less....moral friends told me they'd boot him off, I told him not too.
I'm sick of this #########, but I'm not going to stoop to his level.

People on the internet do whatever they want. Turn of your chat if it bothers you so much when someone messages you.

big yikes... That's all

Oh, I see...Not gonna lie, I was kinda expecting you to go for a DBD explanation of tunneling and DS.
But hey, I am glad she understood the situation.
2 -
- If you're going to give a useless and condescending reply then maybe don't bother commenting at all?
- You clearly didn't read the original post, the OP never tunnelled.
- Turning off messages won't automatically punish someone for DDoS'ing.
10 -
This is why I'm not playing until the DC penalties are back. :)
1 -
Aren't you just a bundle of obnoxious lack of wit. :)

Quick question what is DDoS’d?
1 -
-- A denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) is a cyber-attack in which the perpetrator seeks to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users by temporarily or indefinitely disrupting services of a host connected to the Internet. In the US, denial-of-service attacks may be considered a FEDERAL CRIME under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act with penalties that include years of imprisonment.
-- Tunneling would be ignoring every other player and everything else going on in a GAME to focus on one player exclusively. Tunneling, in DBD context would be chasing one player to the extreme that it's not only counterproductive but also detrimental to winning the match.
So you're actually making the argument that implies that a FEDERAL CRIME, punishable by prison and large fines is somehow equal to something that is often subjective, actually condoned by the people who made the game as a strategy, and something that the OP has stated multiple times that he didn't actually DO.
Next time you think you've been tunnelled, make sure to contact your local authorities, or better yet, the Department iof Justice. 🙄
Jesus -- If you're actually being serious -- wow. Just wow. 🤦♂️
@Pulsar, sorry that happened. You're far more lenient than I am. Teenager, adult -- whatever. You commit a CRIME against me over some perceived slight in a video game, I'm bring the law down hard on you. DBD is a game: people who drag their anger over it to commit actions with potential real-word consequences -- death threats, harrassment, cyber-attacks, etc. -- deserve to be dealt with in a real-world manner if they can't distinguish between the two.
12 -
Imagine committing a federal crime just because you got laid out in a game.
10 -
Clowns make 20k+ a year, yet here you are doing it for free.
14 -
You sure? Most nemesis players I’ve seen tunnel hard!!!! Like bubba in a new outfit.
0 -
Yeah man, I might actually contact the department of justice. The way survivors are being treated right now is disgusting.
0 -
You're clearly trolling at this point and adding nothing constructive to the conversation. Good to know.
7 -
Not the first time they do it, if you look their post history. I think they even admitted once to troll.
1 -
Under normal circumstances I'd tell you to laugh it off
but DDOSing is a federal crime, go to the police, show the screenshots, at worst they'll say they'll look into it, at best they're going to arrest this clown

When survivor start the grab annimation DS get cancel so he did not miss DS and discard it.

I think you can report the ddos im not sure. I will send that screen shot to psn or xbox i dont know which console you play
0 -
I thought it was when the animation was done. Good to know. (I never run DS, I didn't even notice.)
0 -
Yes, I'm sure I wasn't tunneling. I had every intention of ignoring them until they hook bombed and got grabbed
Also, are you really insinuating that DDoS is an acceptable response to that?

It's difficult to do so on Console, but yeah, I could pay the fee and blacklist myself from Xresolver

Didn't want to necro an older thread, so I'm posting it here.
Second post in 3 days, definitely slowing down.
I felt like I needed to share this and ask of there is a way I can get this person banned. The story is essentially that this 4 man kept swarming hook, and I had 8 stacks of STBFL, so they all got slugged and I got this message in response.
I got a little upset but I feel justified in losing my cool. Anyway to get this homophobic POS out?
2 -
lmfao Why be mad? I'd be flattered if someone lost their mind at me like this
EDIT: Wait. Are YOU the one losing your mind? Oops lmao
1 -
No, I'm not the one saying the homophobic things.
1 -
Sorry, I can't tell who's who

You talk too much to these people. I mostly just report them because sony is stupidly strict so I take advantage of that.
You did bait some insults out of him tho that could get at least temp ban him. But you are wasting too much time on mad people.
Edit: I was refering to the last encounter.
