Who really cares about that? People play in swf to have fun with friends, the fun you have in solo queue is almost nil. Pointless post.

Actually, no.
People who play in SWFs appear to have been developing a small god complex over the past 5 years, leading to the inflated issue of "survivor entitlement." The game is so easy in a SWF that people who play exclusively in SWF have been conditioned to believe they are good at DBD.
Thats not the case, and it takes an admission of that fact to truly come to terms with losing.

While they're having fun with friends, they have unintentionally benefit from the voice chat and make the game easy mode. Some people even go out of their way to harass killers.
I have no problem with people playing with friends. However, I have problems with the game.

I have no illusions about my skill as survivor. I just want to shoot the ######### with my SWF teammate. Is that so wrong?

Playing as killer against only Solo Q survivors doesn't make you good at dbd. It just makes killer incredibly easy.

There are thousand of players who believe they're good at DBD, because their experiences in SWF deceive them into that reality.
Perhaps you don't play enough killer to see it.

Does it make you feel better when you imagine that the players who just beat you were not good at the game?
I mean, you still lost...So...
And in the end, I just play SWF to have fun with a friend. Not even to gain an advantage. When I play Solo, I am far more efficient as Survivor...

I got nothing wrong with SWF, mate.
This PSA is for the survivors who step up on their glass pedestal and throw stones at the killer when they escape with only 1 or 2 hooks, or after losing "because the killer camped and tunneled them."

I'd say the incentive is you get better at the game faster. It'll also feel like you deserved it if you manage to escape because you didn't need an overpowered cheat like comms just to win. Solo Survivor is only frustrating when the Killer tunnels you or if your teammates do something stupid like bringing the Killer to you or unhooking you near the Killer without BT. It's also very frustrating when your crappy SWF teammates talk crap about you (as a solo) in the end chat saying you're trash or whatever when most of the time you know it's their fault, because they're bad at the game. So basically, SWF's bully both sides.
Honestly, I'd really like to have that filter the devs talked about at one point. I'd filter out SWF's as both Survivor and Killer.

And while you are doing that you are subconsciously saying things like "i found ruin near x" "my gen is almost finished near x" or some location like in a 3 gen. "i'm going to save you stay on gens". You know each others perks. you can coordinate blocks without even needing to think.
The game isn't built for it and the devs never balanced around it after implementing it.

I would agree if you were right but that is not the case. When you get carried by your 3 other teammates, yeah your right. But it Sounds like you mean that every game is easy. I killed some swf groups. Even good ones. Yes its easier then solo...but when you counter a good or very good killer, even a swf group needs to be good. Or do you think Oracle has no good players?

What people think most swfs are:
-Toxic bully squads
-Lots of clicky clicky
-All gens done in 4 minutes
-GGEZ baby killer
What SWFs actually are like:
-Screaming down the microphone to annoy your friends
-Missing every skillcheck because you don't pay attention
-Nodding at the basement chest for 3 minutes as your friend screams at you to move so he can finish his search a chest archive
-No gens done but you guys had a blast

Considering you said "SWFs" and most of the toxic bully squads (also tournament squads now) left in existence have serious reason to be able to do so (because no matter what anyone says they can't deny that the few actual toxic bully squads, and not "toxic bully" that used head on a single time, that remain are genuinely skilled), I genuinely don't know.

There are also a lot of killer who stack 3 slow downs and think they're good at dbd, it goes both ways, thankfully I'll never be someone who stacks slow downs but as it it, I play a significant more killer than I do survivor these days and I don't get people bragging about how good they are and their swf are in chat.

I genuinely am not impressed with anyone on Oracle, but that is not what this post is about.
This PSA exists solely for those who believe that they are great at DBD, when in reality they are being carried by the benefits of a SWF and the players they have queued up with. If someone is reading this and they do not have an over-inflated perception of their ability to play survivor, then this post is not for them.
People who complain about SWFs in this forum are not complaining about the latter group you mentioned. They are complaining about the few bad eggs who spoil the bunch.

A lot of people who complain about SWFs on this forum think everyone who plays with their friends wants all killer players to personally scooter ankle their families and themselves, you clearly haven't looked very far. The entitlement issue runs deep on both sides.

Why direct it at anyone at all, you either alienate the majorty of SWFs (the ones dicking around for funsies) or you accurately portray an incredibly small percentage of the player base who definitely aren't on the forums and wouldn't care about some random on the forums telling them they think they're good.

I find the "just for funsies" swf rather rare and encounter the spread out and gen jockey ones far more commonly with a boddy block thrown in here and there if their "friend" ran to a dead zone or our of pallets.

Do you think survivors enjoy ending matches in under 10 minutes and leaving? If you're not very good at chases it isn't up to the survivors to not do gens and prolong the match so the killer can feel like they're doing something.
I actually find it insanely hilarious how killers complain about body blocking it's incredibly easy to get around, you get to injure an additional survivor, and it means someone isn't doing a gen, I have to just assume any killer that complains about body blocking is the stubborn type that is probably awful at the game and decides to just hold W at the survivor instead of swinging at them ASAP and hooking the survivor.

Who do I trust, the killer main on the forums who always complains and exaggerates or the dozen or so streamers I watch daily that face sweat squads once a week.

Do you know Zozzy's rank? Do you know Zozzy's region? Do you know Zozzy's hours in the game? Do you even know if Zozzy has played killer more than 5% of their total game time?

I've seen enough of Zozzy' comments to know they player killer frequently and often use the forums as a way to complain about the state of the game.
I know they've suggested things like EGC starting when the last gen is done for example, I know they've made comments about limiting the amount of running survivors can do, I know the types of comments Zozzy makes, it would be hard for me to ever see them as anything but a killer main.
