linked skins
Just out of curiosity, who actually likes linked skins? I know a lot of people only bought them due to the cosmetic bug but now that its gone, whos actually gonna get linked skins now?

I bet people are going to buy sets again, especially if the style is cool and for their mains.

The bug was the main reason I bought them. I can see BHVR losing money because almost no one is going to buy them anymore. The fun is all about the mix and matching, and the devs removed that fun factor entirely instead of focusing all their efforts on something that ACTUALLY effects the gameplay.

I will not buy the Mordeo set, now, because not being able to switch out the weapon is unacceptable.
I might purchase licensed sets if I really want them, but it is so much less likely now.
Very few sets for original characters deserve to have all three pieces linked, so I will never buy those. I won't give them money when they chose the easy route over the consumer-friendly route. BHVR knows what their customers want from their cosmetics, but even when it's within their control they unnecessarily take away the option to mix-and-match. They patched the glitch without rectifying the problem where allowed. It was the wrong decision, it makes it look like they prioritize everything else over their paying customers.

I buy linked sets if they look good and they're for a character I play. I don't often mix and match, the only one I've done is make my Nea look like a punk/street walker with the hooker boots and red skirt, the grey pixie cut head, and the leather jacket; otherwise I only use full sets because most of the mixing and matching looks like hot garbage to me.

After today's patch, the only cosmetics that I'll even think about buying are future Resident Evil ones, and even then the chances of me actually going through with the purchase are low.

Never bought any before and -probably- never will buy them.
and it’s a known fact this forum US obsessed with these cosmetics..
in the game itself i have seen plenty of linked sets used, especially that Nea one. Broken sets were a very very rare sight..

Even though I think many of the linked skins look great
I refuse to buy them because of them existing in such a condition
Aside from the here and there linked sets that would cause numerous clipping issues and would just look completely off, the majority of these sets have no reason to be linked aside from BHVR wanting money
No good reason aside from the few odd cases
