If swf is to be addressed

Then camping and tunneling need to be as well. Killers get so pissed about swfs since it is a completely unfun play style according to them yet every time someone brings ups how unfun of a play style camping and tunneling is killer mains start screaming like babies about how it’s complete fair and shouldn’t be touched. I am perfectly fine with adressing swfs but we need to adress the unfun killer play styles too.

well swf most likely is gong to stay the same so this is fine. I have a feeling neither is going to be addressed

Then how about we actually make killers get some actual incentive to play more fair to the survivors instead of sweating their A's off trying to actually get pressure early by removing one unlucky person who was found first. Because the only efficient way to make pressure right now is removing someone at 4 gens to guarantee a win. If you've got any suggestions I'd be HAPPY to hear them.

    Unfortunately this.

Gens go by fast (especially with 4 stack swf) and a killer's best option is to get one person outta there as a fast as possible.

Everyone wants the killer to play nice and fair but to 3 hook every survivor and rotate them, all while kicking gens, is a big ask (and that is without survivor second chance perks).

Swf is fine how it is and doesn't need to be addressed. What I think does need to be addressed is solo q, gen kicks/regression/ gen taps, and creating more killer perks like Devour and Chili that encourage the killer to get away from hook and go after different survivors.

Overpowered SWF, weak soloQ, camping and tunneling and the only major balance issues left in the game. I wish DEVs would finally start fixing them.

SWF will never be addressed. If it was going to be addressed it would be 5 years ago when it was implemented. BHVR was lazy with it and now the game is stuck like this, and every new map, killer and information perk they add to the game makes it harder and harder to balance the game so that SWF and solo queue are on a near even playing field. BHVR is in too deep and will continue to add new DLC every 3 months to distract from underlying problems.

It’s not hard to fix. Increase gen times by 5-10%. Nerf perks like ruin that punish survivors for leaving gens at all ( it’s insane how killers complain about survivors never leaving gens even when their teammate is hooked when they are running ruin which actively punishes survivors for not gen rushing). Add a base kit totem counter that way survivors have another objective that can actually see and keep track of that doesn’t waste a perk slot.

Well, those are separate issues. For killer, there has to be in-game mechanics to stop gens from completing gens in 5 minutes if the killer does his job well. Because neither side likes the game to be ended early to the degree that they feel powerless. For killers, it's gens. For survivors, it's camping and tunneling (actual tunneling, not this "OMG you didn't perfectly distribute hooks" garbage). These are issues for both sides, and BHVR's way of addressing them is "here's some perks to deal with the problem" which makes the game more boring since fixing the game requires less build diversity. That's where the problem lies.

SWF alongside things like Exhaustion perks are more like the reasons why Nurse and Spirit are acceptable things to have in the game more than the cause for camping and tunneling.

The problem is t SWF, the problem is that when survivors are properly co-ordinated they have an I-Win button.

However, when they lack co-ordination, then it's the killer who gets a free win.

Camping and tunnelling are similar in issue to predropping pallets ,holding W and slamming gens. They all need to go at the same time, and the best way to do that is probably by reworking generators.

I can't see both of those being addressed as camping and tunneling are legit strategies and most survivors play with friends especially at night. Idk how you can fix SWF.

The answer is buffing solo Q and then buffing every killer in accordance.

Camping's hard to address. How do you tell whats actual camping and whats a killer looking for a survivor they know is nearby? Or someone running them around hook? Or- you get the idea.

Tunnelling is also weird for a different reason. Sometimes it's needed; its the quickest way to bring control to a situation (assuming the killer is chasing someone who isn't a loop god) as well as cause a snowball. Its needs to be fixed, but at the same time it's required

Honestly, the answer to swf is just to play territorial. No need to change the games values except maybe pallets spawns not being within 5 meters of one another. Eventually they'll get close and that's when you kill them, or just down, slug, down, slug, they'll probably keep going to save, so eventually they'll bleed out and not repair the last 2 gens which would allow of 4 of them to escape, but i'm just built different.

Daily reminder they nerfed Moris into obscurity 6 months ago and all we've heard about keys is "we have a rework idea, we may have some info to share at a later date".
