Marvin's Blood on Nemesis feels so good.
Marvin's blood is the yellow Nemesis addon that makes hitting a survivor with your tentacle give an extra mutation point.
This causes the amount of points from a contamination to go from 3 to 4 and the increase to a normal tentacle hit from 1 to 2.
Running this addon feels great even though it really only helps you tier up a hit or two faster, though that might be because most of Nemesis' addons feel lackluster or don't have a noticeable effect to me.
In conclusion I suggest running Marvin's Blood, it feels nice.

I love it too, but it kinda sucks. Hear me out, during early and mid game, awh such a beautiful addon. Chef kiss
And that's it. You only get that addon's intense power during that part of the game, nothing else. It becomes a waste of an addon slot, something that's kinda rare for killers. It's still really good and it makes me happy, but it kinda needs something else so it just doesn't completely make Nemesis' addon slots only one. Personally that's me, but they could also add
-Slightly increases Zombie's movement speed
That way it doesn't just become a waste later on and you can still get some use out of it

I do like that idea since the zombie movement speed addons are often what I run alongside blood. Though I really hope Nemesis just gets an addon pass in general for the mid chapter.

An addon pass? Sorry, my dbd terminology still sucks, I assume that's when they look at his addons and decide what needs changing?

You might feel like it's a waste, but as someone who's played quite a bit of Nemesis (and someone who mains tf out of Pyramid Head), the sooner you get that +1 Meter, the sooner you can start hitting more risky shots and down people faster. I can't tell you how many times that +1 Meter has gotten me a hit. The sooner I get it, the faster I can get to work.
I played 3 matches without Marvin's Blood, and I didn't get to Tier 3 until at least 3 gens (once 2 gens) left. When I run it, at most 1 gen gets done before I get Tier 3. Not to mention that hitting one Survivor twice gets you into Tier 2, which the ability to break walls/pallets is a must on him.

I also do play a lot of Nemesis haha, but how I usually get it rather quickly is to.. well. Not spam it, I make an actual estimate of a survivor is gonna do and I whip them for it, I don't try to play like Indiana Jones.
But something that definitely helps me is if I see a zombie in particular who has not spotted a survivor for a good while and I know it's safe. I'm eating them. They're useless right now, I'd rather play some RNG on a god spawn instead of them just aimlessly walking around praying that they find someone. But, yeah. If you pick and choose your whip attempt, you'll still reach tier 3 rather quickly. Though, I completely understand why you would think that

There's a huge gap of RE games for me, so...who the hell is Marvin?

Yeah that's what it is, it's just another way to say an addon rework.
I don't know why dbd has another term to say that but I've already been indoctrinated into saying it.

Meh... It's ok, but honestly I rank up the Mutation so fast without it that I don't really need the extra boost. On the other hand, Making my zombies become "Crack Zombies" by using the Mikhail's Eye, and Depleted Ink Ribbon add-ons makes a huge world of difference. The zombies go from being practically useless to a decent threat for the survivors because increasing their movement speed means they cover more of the map, encounter survivors more often, and typically end up hitting or blocking them at more crucial times frequently.
The Zombie Detection add-ons suck for them because while they definitely go after survivors from a further distance, their base movement rate makes that a moot point since they are so easily avoidable, so honestly, the Movement speed addons end up becoming the greater benefit in comparison.
Overall though, I feel like the Devs basically gave Nemesis the Demogorgon treatment: Too afraid to make him decent-good that they ended up giving him add-ons that only increase the base stats of his power that nobody cares about upon release, and they will eventually have to do an "add-on pass" in the future to make him remotely viable. Which imo, has got to be pissing off Capcom to see one of their most Iconic antagonists reduced to such a pathetic state in another game.

A police officer who helped guide Leon through the R.P.D before succumbing to the T-virus and turning into a zombie.

I've never actually played through a Resident Evil game yet so I don't actually know who Marvin is, but according to the RE wiki he is a RPD officer who worked with Leon at some point

Oh okay, I only played RE2 (the original) once each with Leon and Claire, and that was over 20 years ago. Thanks for the answers.
