Voice Chat
Actual survivor voice chat in DBD. People can queue up solo if they'd like but now we can actually communicate with others. Maybe they can nerf gen speeds to equalize it or something.
What reasons discourage/prevent DBD devs from going this route?

Community ofcourse. There is not voice chat, there is not normal chat. Only end game chat and people are so toxic in end game.
Just imagine people will insult you because you did not helped in time or they will blame you for their lose etc. Community is so toxic and voice chat is really not good idea.

Toxic damn fools is what. Plus who wants to be bullied for opting out of voice chat.
I have friends I swf with that just don't like to use comms. I have one friend I have played with for over two years and have never heard their voice.

Because firstly and most importantly, it costs money obviously, and also they want active people on their discord, If you put voice chat, they gonna loose maybe half or maybe more. Dont believe the "toxic" argument from players, thats the only thing that they can think of, and i dont blame them, its just not true. I mean there will be toxic ppl like in any game, maybe more on dbd but there are many ways to counter it.

I never even played F13th the game but just from watching let’s plays and streams of it I know I don’t want this feature. It wouldn’t help the current soloQ situation at all and would actually make it worse as you can’t play with voice comma but the game will get balanced with it in mind.

I've just never liked the idea of a voice chat ESPECIALLY in dbd because of the toxicity. It would be a lot better if they added some sort of ping function or a pre-made list of voice commands like "unhook me" or "do the gen". That would work fine.

LOL I can imagine they toxicity during the voice chat already.
People getting called names, threaten in many ways, throw terrible deceases, etc, etc, etc.
No thank you, let's keep it the way it is 👍

The opposite if anything, they should nerf communication especially in SWFs
What is the purpose of blindness, knock out or stealth killers then?

It would be good, obviously there should be options to turn it off so you can’t hear your teammates if you are scared that they will rage. Also they should buff every killer if they decide to add it

No thanks I have no wish of speaking to strangers who will insult me for not saving them at endgame with noed etc

I´d also prefer that kind of communication. There would be many intense situations:
. Someone interferes your looping blocking u a window.
. Teammates don´t come to rescue on time.
. Teammate don´t wanna stop gen to heal u....
Many survivors would be raging and being rude .... give survivors a command voice communication better and the possiblity to silence specific survivors if they want to (for toxic or spammer players).

I would prefer ping wheel over comms, I don't need angry 13yo yell at me entire match

I think that BHVR dude who streams said that they dont want Voice Chat in DBD. Its in one of the Lytriz compilations too lazzy to search the exact video.
But i could see a chat wheel like: (Killer, Help, Run) and they show up next to the name (on the left side of the screen). And then we add a Killer who can mess with chat wheel sending wrong messages xD

No please no. But a ping/message system could be good, kinda similar to the one in Identity V.

Insidious Bubba on Bassement: " Harry up Claudette and rescue me. Bubba is gone to check a gen I promise".

I guess a lot people in EU doesn't know how to speak english and atleast 30% players doesn't want to communicate. It also makes people complain a lot more and they start raging over a mic. I personally don't wanna hear that grown man acts like a little kid.
