Why does this game suck now?
When I first started playing this game it was a scary poorly lit game-which made the horror more intense- where you could actually hide from the killer. Now you can be spotted from anywhere on the map because it’s broad daylight and the colors look like the game made a baby with Cartoon Network so I’m just wondering why this game sucks now?

yeah it was cooler when as a killer we could appear out of the mist and see survs scramble, but pretty sure you’re just complaining because you’re losing more. Don’t worry, the game is still majorly tilted in survivors favor, so you must be the main factor for your losses. Stop complaining and making the game even worse for killers, it is not our job or the devs job to make this easy for you! We’re killers, our only job is to kill you, if you’re frustrated then find another game

For your information, it is harder for the Killers to spot you on those broad daylight maps due to the ample LOS blocking terrain and the extreme hues and color schemes. What I would suggest is that your skills have stagnated while others have improved; this has led to you losing more. We all hit the wall from time to time. Break out of your comfort zone and learn to do something OTHER than stealth. That only carries you so far. You have to be able to Loop, rely on your teammates, and them rely on you. And for the record, there are still plenty of dark, poorly lit maps. :)

Well first pc have a bunch of settings and filters which change the visual look making it easier to see things. Second chasing is the most fun aspect of the game, and since survivors are stronger than the killer you dont really need to hide. You can still hide though just not point blank in front of people which was stupid anyway.

as the above poster stated-- there's actually a mechanism, just like in real life, where light is a hindrance to your vision (but only for killers). because there are objects on the map, and different colors everywhere, killers actually have a harder time of seeing things clearly now, despite the sun hovering 15 feet above the map

You can only be scared by the same thing so many times. I remember one of my first matches was against a trapper with Distressing and I nearly ######### my pants when we were trying to escape

Any changes that may seem to benefit killers is just the devs trying to finally balance the game in favor of killers, even just a tiny bit. Even they recognize that survs have an inherent ability to control every match. I can see why you'd complain about it, but it's an undeniable fact that survs can shrug off most killer advantages/items/tactics by simply plugging their mics in

Oh you can be spotted anywhere on map because of busted killer perks too. The lighting is the least of the issues.
Game is ran by a group more interested in money off cosmetics than the quality of game play their players experience.

It seems a majority here are killer mains lol because nearly all of them have used the excuse that survivors can control a match simply by plugging in their mics (which isn’t true, especially with the recent cross play update), and I agree with you it’s kinda lame devs have taken away that dark creepy feel.. survivors may be able to be harder to see from far away but up close were spotted instantly, which usually leads to other survivors using that as a tactic to get the killer off them by sacking us.. I find it funny how killer mains say survivors are so powerful, when actually the correct usage of words would be SURVIVE WITH FRIENDS are so powerful.

Amen. It’s so bad. Killer mains are like schoolyard bullies. They act tough until you stand up to them, then they band together on here to cry. Games entirely killer favored and almost to the point of being unplayable outside red ranks where survivors can compete, which killers also hate.
