I underestimated how trash the Twins are
I know having Victor on your back does NOT stop you from vaulting windows and dropping pallets, which still makes no sense to me, but the fact Victor can be on your back, and you can still unhook, was the last nail in the coffin, the Twins are the worst of the worst

Yeah they are bad.

It’s a camp killer like hag. Most I see do very well and usually get a 4K. That’s most killers though. Maybe practice at it a bit and report back.

I love taking that little guy for a ride.
I actually go out of my way to give him piggy back rides 🤗
1 -
I knew they were, just not THAT much
0 -
I got my 4K, but obviously not good survivors, didn't played them in months, and don't plan to anytime soon, and because they are good at camping doesn't mean they are a good killer, anyone can camp, some are better than others at it

Whatever. Victor is super strong.
You just park Charlotte next to the hooked survivor and go to town with a practically undodgeable attack from Victor. Victor is one of the best 1v1 abilities in the game.
4 -
what about deathslinger?
0 -
Treat Victor like an RBT, ignore the survivor with him on their back.
And if they go for an unhook they're already injured so it's at least a guaranteed trade if you're close enough.
0 -
He is as good as your aim.
1 -
Wdym? The twins are a high A tier Killer, most people don't know how to play against them and in situations where you have multiple people injured you can go on a mass slugging spree with how strong and fast Victor is at downing people. Their early game is the worst part of them but even then their midgame more than makes up for it with the strongest slugging ability in the game, even more than or at least equal to Oni.
6 -
stay in group of 2 and you need to have at least 1 healing perk, best is we're gonna live forever, easy counter
0 -
exactly, A tier
0 -
Just spam him like everyone else. He's only got an 8 second respawn timer since the devs won't change it. Just spam him, hit someone while you wait for him to come back and start slugging with him. It's a super easy killer when you do.
0 -
Yeah, all survivors have to do is travel in pairs and use lockers and there's nothing they can do.
1 -
agreed, buff the twins :^)

Not on Console.
Every time you charge his attack, the game freezes and that was before the RE update.

I play the Twins a lot, and for the record I used to think they were trash too (I thought they were the worst killers ever released). But they’re actually ridiculously strong.
First it wouldn’t be balanced if a survivor with Victor on couldn’t vault or drop pallets. You do know it’s possible to wait until Charlotte is close to a survivor before unleashing Victor right? In these instances, if a survivor absolutely could not vault or use pallets, it’s essentially making Charlotte an insta down killer in these circumstances. I.e. find survivor, use Victor, auto change to Charlotte, 100% free hit.
Secondly, The Twins hook camping is already strong enough without adding in the restriction that a survivor with Victor cannot unhook. Think of only 2 survivors left, one almost about to be sacrificed, and all Charlotte needs to do is launch Victor onto the healthy survivor running into the hook, and the survivor on the hook unfairly dies because they didn’t have more than 8 seconds left on their timer.
2 -
I’m not a console pleb so not really my problem
1 -
Funnily enough, yes injured survivors should stay grouped together. Conversely though, healthy survivors shouldn’t stay grouped up.
One of the worst circumstances the survivors can find themselves in is if Victor latches onto a healthy survivor grouped up with other injured survivors, with Charlotte being told where they all are for a few seconds.
1 -
they just need to change his nerfs.
That's what hurts twins the most. out of Anything,
0 -
Twins are like a tier at least. They're very strong especially when slugging
1 -
It doesn’t hurt them as much as I personally thought. I think it’s fair that they’ve made mass slugging with Victor more difficult. That’s not a healthy thing for survivors to deal with.
1 -
Victor is an annoying little gremlin, critter, chucky it’s too bad he can’t chew your neck
0 -
The Twins are ridiculously powerful. The only problem with them is that the only way they can be played is in a pretty unhealthy sluggy/campy playstyle.
Yes, having Victor on your back does next to nothing, and yes they are extremely inefficient when it comes to time if you play the normal, patrol-chase-hook game. This is why you don't play like that with Twins.
Hopefully they get some rework that makes their playstyle a bit healthier.
1 -
I've never had that happen
0 -
honestly they're the ones I play when I'm tired of losing although I agree they have some issues. What I hate is the cooldown on Victor when you down someone. It's like it's designed to be impossible to not be kicked by the nearest survivor. If they decide to go in pairs you're screwed. I swear some survivors have managed to kick Victor after the cooldown expired which infuriated me immensely. At least the respawn on him is decent.
1 -
Damn, I guess ######### the majority of the playerbase.
1 -
It's also not healthy for survivors to punt victor while he tries to recover 3 seconds in... and still force to wait TWO seconds,
That is just not a good thing for twins.
0 -
I don't see why Victor not preventing Unhooking is an issue. It's no different than how Tier 3 Doctor Madness doesn't prevent unhooking when it, like Victor, prevents most other actions. I don't think there's anything in the game that actively stops Unhooking short of grabbing the unhooker midway through.
1 -
Twins isn't bad at all tho? Victor isn't meant to be stall. He's best for chases and snowballing. Pop on Sloppy and get everyone injured THEN use Victor. I promise you won't think they're a bad killer if you get good with them.
1 -
People unhooking others while Victor's on them has always been ######### up to me.
1 -
They need to rework the twins. It would have been the perfect coop killer. So killers also could play with their friends.
1 -
I know that you always like to assume the worst, and the literal best case scenario for the survivors when talking balance, but honestly what survivors are gonna stay grouped together like that except the best ones (which, unless they're a 4-man, is never gonna happen because they're always gonna be matched with weak links that any killer can take out of the game and win that way without much trouble).
0 -
not because I have this name means I am trash 🙄

Having someone on your back THAT SHOULD FROM THE START bite your neck off since they are on your shoulder and doesn't do that is dumb enough, keeping victor on your back SHOULD but you in the dying state if he stays on your shoulder for too long, Victor is on your shoulders, a freaking tiny mutan scratching your face and making awful sounds, how the ######### shoudn't he stop you from using your arms properly so stopping you from dropping pallets and vaulting and unhooking? this makes absolutely NO SENSE, this is what Victor should do 100%, they should be the killer that totally stops you from being able to do ANYTHING as long as he's on your shoulders, and also, why can you only see Victor's aura for 2-3 seconds after recovering? why the the whole freaking time? he's charlotte's brother, both are linked, how/why can't you see where he is at all time? makes no sense again.
And about the camping, if you forcefully place Charlotte or Victor near a hook to totally camp like crazy, the devs should simply add a little mechanic that if victor stays within 30 meters of a hook for 10 seconds he will die (while idle) and the cooldown to respawn is trippled, and if it's Charlotte that is sleeping they should add a little mechanic that will make her sleep walk away from it until she's like 35 meters or something, this will NOT fix the camping issue but it would GREATLY reduce how problematic it is

On next gen too?

I mean anyone playing Twins is pretty simple-minded and the killer is actually really overtuned to suit their playerbase, you might've just encountered or be just learning the stuff this killer can actually do, yet non deranged people don't really touch these ######### out of the love they have for this game and how this killer just brings despair and dcs on this game out of their completely obnoxious mechanics.

Thats not a "killer is weak" problem though
1 -
It is.
It's like saying the fact that Blight was bugged on Console for 8 months didn't affect his power.
1 -
It's not, it's a consequence to the bad optimization. If the game was running smoothly as intended, the killer wouldn't be different from pc
1 -
That doesn't change the fact that Blight was borderline unplayable on Console.
It's why a lot of Console players think Spirit is better than Nurse. We can actually play Spirit, whereas Nurse is much harder to play on Console.
1 -
I can see where you're coming from but I think this falls under the category of "necessary evil". Like I said I don't think there's anything in the game that prevents the act of unhooking other than interrupting it while in-progress.
That suggests the devs don't want there to be anything that prevents a survivor from trying to save a teammate and, if so, I sincerely agree with that idea. I could see a penalty to unhooking as a compromise but preventing the act at all is just not in the cards.
0 -
Doctor can do this if he spam his shock all the time on you, Victor should be a "portable" version of it, this is personally what I think, I know stopping survivors from helping each other isn't a good thing, but like, you have a mutan on your shoulders, you should have to remove it before unhooking.
0 -
yikes, they're more than you seem to think
oh well. not for all

I don’t know, I do pretty well with them 🤷♂️
