Solo Queue
So many killers make solo queue unbearable with camping and tunnelling and then proceed to wonder why people want to play with their friends instead of playing solo. Now I understand camping and tunnelling can be a valid strategy at times, but so many killers will go out of their way just tunnel some poor green rank through BT and DS at 5 gens. This with the terrible queues and bad matchmaking makes playing solo queue one of the worst things in this game.

Solo que is bad because most survivors do extremely foolish things, especially in the lower ranks. Reds its not that bad

I'm in reds and so many red ranked survivors still make the dumbest mistakes and half the time you will get matched with low ranks anyways. I don't think you have played solo as much I have if you think solo queue is fine.

When I play survivor I play almost exclusively solo. Yes they do sometimes make silly decisions but not the same level of stupidity as lower ranks. Usually the bad decisions at high ranks are born out of cockiness instead of just inexperience. Like i almost never see someone get to 2nd stage on their first hook. The one time ive seen that happen in the last month we were legit gen rushing the crap out of this spirit and he was hooked in basement. Had 4 gens done by the time he hit 2nd stage and she got her 2nd hit. At low ranks you might sit on hook through all 3 stages and no gens get done. Theres a massive difference there. Its way more likely that a survivor will get to cocky cause they assume that the killer will assume they have bt or overestimate their ability to body block. Theres the occasional potato in reds but thats rarer than people make it out to be.
As for solo que being fine, I think it is for the most part, just depends on the iq level of your teammates 🤷♂️

I've been playing a lot more solo lately, and I've actually had a lot of success (this has been essentially at Red Rank). I've actually had really solid teammates most of the time. It hasn't been anywhere the nightmare that it's been made out to be.

The problem isn't SoloQ then the problem is the players being bad.

Exactly. Poor matchmaking is the core problem of solo queue but we don't have anything better...yet

Red rank solo queue players are the worst. Most of them got their by working entirely SOLO. Meaning they hid in the shadows saving only when it is convenient, lead the killer to other survivors so they can shake the chase, and always find the hatch for their escape letting one or two people die on hook so they can 'win'. They are EXTREMELY likely to be running bond for shaking off the killer. If they see you get in a locker when you go to craft a flashbang, they will come open the door, stopping you from crafting it for a moment. Most of them are ######### morons! They assume they know what needs to be done and try telling you that by waving and pointing. If you don't listen to their gesticulations they get upset and start fast vaulting through windows and into lockers trying to summon the killer to punish you for your insolence. /rant

How many gens did you have done before they were hooked? Completing four gens, with three survivors, from 0-100%, in one hook phase is impossible.

1 or 2. Dont remember exactly.
Its not just the hook phase to account for, they had to find the survivor, chase them hook them then find another survivor. Thats a lot of time

If you have a long queue, just switch to killer and find out WHY killers tunnel and camp.

Solo Queue sucks because there's absolutely no communication between the survivors. While I agree bad teammates play a part in making Solo Queue terrible — even skilled survivors do stupid things because there's no communication.
Then when you have killers who tunnel / camp a survivor out of the game with 5 generators, it's the pure reason why I'm a killer main. At least I get a chance to play the game when as survivor can get taken out within the first 2 minutes of the game.

Solo is a meme at best. You absolutely cannot take it seriously because your chance of escape is very low.
It's actually you vs 3 survivors and a killer.

That's a foolish thing to say. I meet just as many foolish killers, but it's not a matter of foolishnes, it's a matter of balance, or do you think survivors suddenly become much smarter playing SWF? No, SWF just changes balance between solo and SWF. Sme thing about killer-survivor balance.
