Why is this bug still in the game, Behaviour? It's been how long now? A year?
Y'all need to start pouring money into the functionality of the game and less into cosmetics. Good god!

I can't recall a period of time where it was ever fixed though, only they said they fixed it in patch notes. It's been happening since I've been watching and playing this game which was about 2 and a half years ago now. Weird that this specific sound is the one that refuses to be functional the most.

I played during the latest MMR test and it worked then. That was, what, a month ago?
Are you guys using any 5.1 or 7.1 virtualization software, perchance?

The devs said they can’t reliably reproduce the bug and actively asked the community to help them.
how is that acting like it doesn’t exist? They definitely acknowledged it and also fixed some instances of it..

i am on console and the bug was always here for me since a year i think.
(Maybe it still got fixed sometimes, i took a break from time to time)

I've had this bug every single time I've been slugged in the last few weeks. I don't know if it's playing audio for the killer and not for me, or if I'm silent for the killer as well, but it's really dumb either way.

Random Iron Will is too. Got unhooked yesterday as Leon and had it for the rest of the match.

I didn't keep tabs on you, I just checked to see if anyone had reported the bug and saw that you had. My point was that 14 hours isn't enough time to find and fix a bug, especially when you give zero details about how to reproduce the bug.

Well it's clearly not that important to them because it hasn't been fixed yet. It occurs often enough, even if that's 1 in 25 games, that they should be able to recreate it on their own. Just have one of them play regular matches online. If someone on their team isn't able to play a regular amount to even find this bug, there's your problem. This could also be fixed by one of them simply looking into their code and being like, "Oh, that's not supposed to be like that."

It’s clear that you are oversimplifying it.
there are people that get it more often and there are people that don’t get this bug at all. If it is so often for you you did provide the data in the thread when they asked the community for help, right?

I'm not on the forums all the time. I must have missed it. But they don't need to see it to believe it. A survivor is slugged and is silent. Boom, that's the bug. What they need to do is take that information and find what in their code could be causing that.

They never denied it. They acknowledged it but said they can’t reproduce it and need the community to help them.
if you don’t know something that’s okay. You don’t need to tell a story to make the devs looks worse than they are.

I'll do you one better: silent while injured WITHOUT iron will. Had this personally happen the other day playing as Dwight. It was really bizarre.
Eventually I did start emitting sounds but for a big chunck of time I was a ninja.

unfortunately sound bugs are never on the top of the priority list, mainly because its seems its a huge time investment for them just to release a new patch and have it be broken again. at this point i think they are not even trying to fix it.
