Every first skill check while struggling on hook hardly hits, except I press my space bar very rough

When I'm struggling on hook in second phase every first skill check I get I cannot hit, except I press my space bar very rough. That only happens with the first skill check while struggling on hook. I don't have any problems with any other skill checks.
Had anyone similar experiences?

I found out that I can prevent it by moving my camera before the first skill check triggers.
