Its really not though.
You like being chased.
When youre tunneled youre the only one being chased.
But then tunneling bad, which means you for some reason want the killer to stop chasing you so you can hold m1 and stare at a generator.
None of this makes sense to me. I dont mind being tunneled personally, im trying to understand why you do when its giving you the thing you like

The survivor is locked in an animation falling off of the shoulder and thatβs part of the 5 second timer so they canβt even start moving until 3.5-4 seconds are left.

Also, people are still using it as a defensive shield. The ammout of times I downed someone, then go for someone else and then find again the previous unhooked person that just use or force me to use DS is a lot. So it is still not only anti-tunnel perk.

Upon using ds the entity should just mori the killer and award all bloodpoints that killer earned to the poor tunneled survivor. All other survivors have their bloodpoints doubled. Naturally this counts as a perfect escape

Honestly giving survivors a free health state is an awful idea. Survivors with ds will just stay around the killer and try to get downed and picked up for the added benefit of a quick heal. Add unbreakable and survivors can just body-block without fear cause it is actually in their benefit to get picked up again. It will also lead to a lot more slug fests where a killer slugs survivors for minutes on end to avoid giving them a huge benefit.
A longer stun duration also does not seem necessary as I think the perk is fine where it is at, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I'd like DS to be usable twice since it's been balanced to only target killers who tunnel / camp.
Perks that discourages anti-fun and-or encourages fun strategies should be powerful in my opinion. Camping, Tunneling, Slugging, Gen-rushing, safe unhooks, spreading hooks across all survivors, and the list goes on.

How about ds kills the killer irl and to compensate killers are more realistic and dying any means in the game results in you dying in the irl.
Also the killer can now parry ds with a totally super duper hell on earth difficulty skill check that prevents them dying. And stuns them for 1.5 seconds

The newest changes to DS were good - preventing survivors from doing things to help the team. HOWEVER - it still doesn't prevent tunneling.
I play survivor/killer 60/40, 1600 hrs, so still kinda noob but based on my experience on how unfun the game can be when a killer tunnels:
When there are 2 or less survivors in the game DS stays as it is now, recognizing at this stage that sometimes 1 person can't be found so a tunnel might be necessary.
However when there are 3 or 4 survivors make DS unlimited use with each activation increase stun time by 5 seconds. So if a killer tunnels one person off hook, 5 sec stun. he keeps going for them, 10 sec stun and so on. No time limit on DS while slugged, or a higher limit.If he tunnels a different survivor the time stacks so starts at 15 sec and so on. This function is cancelled when the killer hits a different survivor, when the survivor does something productive like a gen, or when they get outside a 30m radius from the killer.
This would actually prevent tunneling from being a viable strategy while not punishing killers who don't tunnel. People love to complain about DS but it wouldn't affect them if they weren't tunneling in the first place! If there's a huge issue with survivors wearing the same outfits to exploit this stick an icon above the survivor's head showing DS active status so the killer can see it or something like that.

well, the actual stun duration is enough to reach a loop and loop the killer another extra generator.
The only buff it maybe deserves is count missing the skillcheck as not doing it, so you can try again the next time you be unhooked.

I'm not encouraging it, I'm pointing out a glaring flaw in your proposed edit that you clearly didn't take the time to think about. People would absolutely wait out the timer, keeping you on the ground and pressuring other people in the meantime rather than take a 10 second stun and then have nobody to hook.
