Generators repair way too fast now!!!
I’m a full time killer and I’ve noticed that before a single minute can go by there are already only 2 generators left at times.... so I investigated as a survivor and legit did each gens myself in less then 70 seconds for each one and get this I HAD NO PERKS!!!!
DO U THINK THIS IS OKAY?

we have regression perks for this reason. also I highly doubt its possible you did all the gens in 3 mins

Generators are not repaired too fast. The problem lies in chases and map traversal taking too long for many killers.

It was more like 5 to 9 but still I had no perks and I don’t play as the survivor. Also gen regression? 🤔 I’ll look into this thank u bro

Yeah, it can feel that way. Especially when going against an aggressive SWF. Like 4 toolboxes all with BRAND NEW PART.

it takes 80 seconds for one person to do 1 gen so it's technically impossible for 3 gens to get done in less than a minute or for you to do all the gens in 3 minutes, even with prove thyself and a brand new part. If 3 gens get done in the first 100 seconds of the game it means you haven't applied any pressure since the start of the game and probably have been chasing a single survivor for way too long (or have caught a survivor and are facecamping them).
If gen speed is that much of a problem for you maybe you should focus on applying pressure and learn when to drop chases or run slowdown perks (but i don't recommend solely relying on them tho). Honestly gens getting done too fast is only out of the killer's hands against BNP & Prove Thyself players (who thankfully are pretty rare)

It was more like each generator in less then 70 seconds. And I had no perks but the point is I flew through 5 games doin the same method and I can’t help but let the world know that’s ridiculous.

Generators take 80 seconds to repair. For that reason alone, this topic is flawed and I won't be sharing my opinion, merely a correction on the numbers.
Generators take exactly 80 seconds to repair solo. Survivors take about 10 seconds to spread out. This game is balanced around survivors finishing 3 generators in 90 seconds with no counterplay. The game itself is designed to be played around the last two generators, with the first three merely being there to waste that initial 90 seconds. An efficient team can have the gates open in approximately 2 minutes, 40 seconds, potentially quicker if they use perks and good toolboxes. This is extremely rare. Normally, a trial is still winnable for the killer of the gens take longer than 3 minutes to finish.

and by the way if u know anything about dead by daylight you should know gens have been a issue since day one. I've seen this exactly once, although it was probably closer to 3:30 and on Grim Pantry. The killer just committed too hard to a chase that resulted in the quickest game possible.
Assuming that the killer starts with one person in chase and doesn't catch them for the duration of the gens, and the other survivors have a 20 second gen-travel time and spawn on seperate gens, all gens should be done in roughly 150-180 seconds. Although this is highly unlikely to happen, after enough games (and probably a rank reset or two), it's bound to happen at least once to someone.

I don't think gens should be made any slower though, that's the worst possible option. Increasing the info that solo survivors get and then making it easier for a killer to get into a chase could be one far better option.
Getting all 5 gens done within even 6 minutes means that the killer played poorly or all the survivors are just gods among men.

Interesting opinion u got there man. I feel like maybe a overhaul of the whole perk system would be better seeing by how the meta is currently survivor based. But hey it’s just my opinion 😆🤷♂️
