What's even the point of taking away Bloodweb nodes?

At this point in the game where there are more perks than stars in the sky, why do parts of the Bloodweb get taken away? It just adds to the frustration of grinding.

It would cost you more bloodpoints and take you longer if they didn’t take away nodes. Imagine having to buy every garbage iri on every web lol
