Dead Hard must be changed! It is to strong.

Every Game i have 3-4 Dead Hard Player in my Round.

Everyone reaches a Palette or a Window through this Perk.

It's just more frustrating as a Killer and you can hardly do anything about it.

It's bad enough that EVERYONE can use it and that indefinitely unless you are exhausted.

How many say: Press "E" to win.

I think that a lot of Killer Players are of my opinion.

My Idea would be if it could only be used 1x in a Round.

I agree its probably the best perk in the entire game. But nerfing this perk is not a good idea. Imagibe right now most survivor hold w now imagine that strat with sprint burst your game as a killer will become a nightmare

Bruh it's so broken rn, it works 50% of the time and on console it makes ur game lag like crazy

Yikes! I've never seen a skilled killer have problems with dead hard myself included. As survivor i don't even run the perk anymore because red rank killers make it useless.

I didn't use dead hard in a while and recently swapped ds for dh. Either I got better for some reason or I didn't really used it good enough before. It is ridiculous how long some chases are and how many times killer just leaves me.

Sure sometimes it doesn't work or you get exausted on the ground but when it works it prolongs the chase like crazy.

While I agree it is strong, it is not the only strong thing in the game. I wouldn't say it's broken.

They should make it so when you dead hard you can’t Vault windows or pallets, drop pallets, unhook and open gates for 2 seconds. Fix the lag issues so the perk actually works and make it so when you dead hard into traps you get caught

That is overkill. What is the benefit of using it then? Live for 1 more second?

The benefit is if the killer slashes at you. You dash forward and not get hit but you can’t do the actions I listed it’s supposed to fix the annoyance of the perk how you can just dead hard and get to a vault with no skill

The thing is that if deadhard gets nerfed, killers will start crying about sprintburst. I hope the devs realize they can’t appease killer mains.

As a frequent Dead Hard user, it fails me more than it works. And I bet that's an actual statistic the devs can back up.

So just a reminder to killers, you only notice it when it works. When in reality you have received thousands of downs on failed dead hards.

When someone pulls off a successful DH, it's probably because they were already superior at looping you.

DH grants you 1 second of immunity and hardly any distance. If the survivors do achieve distance that's because they skillfully planned their route. That's fair game and not any fault of dead hard.

And it's no different than Sprint burst. SB adds time to the beginning of the chase where DH adds time to the end of the chase. Its the same extension except you are so thirsty for the down you only complain about DH.

Plus us survivors have to go against nurse and spirit. So just because you play Michael doesn't mean we only face Mikey. Survivors play them all.

As long as Bloodlust gives this small little extra distance as well, DH stays as it is.

And you're right, I really and truly hate this perk. But I get why exhaustables like DH are a thing.

I combine it with Head On to make it even worse! So when I DH you won’t expect HO, and vice versa. Works almost every time. 😂

If killers had their way, survivors would have zero perks, items, or places to run. If you want an easy kill simulator, play duck hunt.

I don't think Dead Hard should be nerfed per say, but it's undoubtedly the most frustrating perk in the game.

    Dead Hard is fine.

Kind of funny that you can loop 100x again or come back to Palettes or Windows.

With me they always press it beforehand just to get to certain places.

    @Cryinfrn

    Crybaby? I don't care.

And Bait the Dead Hard? Are you serious?

For me it is so that you can always reach places that you would otherwise not be able to reach.

And if I change the aggro then that person does that too. And I have to run after stupid and hope for luck.

The best example is you make a good play or outplayed the Survivor and then just press one stupid Button and that's it.

Uh, right. The fact that it only works some of the time doesn't really change the fact that when it does work it saves you from getting knocked. It's not like it's some risk/reward thing where you had to put yourself in special danger for a chance at escape. You were already in danger, you were already on the precipice of being caught, that's why you used it. It would be like me saying noed fails more than it works; it's still a perk for people who basically already got outplayed to try to un-fail themselves.

    For me dead hard:

    • Shouldn't work against traps, poor Evan has already 66 counters
    • Survivors should make a sound after a dead hard (like when they drop from far) because sometimes you can't figure out if it's a DH or just a huge lag.
