First anniversary: Is the event a bloodhunt?
I know we get cakes and all but I was wondering if we also get double bp as well? This would be my first anniversary and I've only been around for one bloodhunt.

Nope,the "only" thing we get for the anniversary event (bloodpoint wise) are the anniversary cakes

I've only played for a year, so other should correct me if I'm wrong. But I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 bloodhunts since I started.
Seems like they've replaced them with bloodpoint codes. Which are typically only active for like 2 days max anyway. So if you don't follow their twitter (which I don't have) it's a pain.

Apparently, the grind has been reduced so much in the past year that we are no longer allowed Bloodhunts.
(The first part is sarcasm, but the second part about no Bloodhunts is for some reason unfortunately true.)

I've never played during a bloodhunt, but I played last anniversary when cakes stacked and it was so fun. Now, hearing that the year 5 cakes don't stack this year, I'm so disappointed. They're just escape cakes but with a different image.

To be fair, the leaks said that the cakes weren't coded to stack, but that hopefully it was an error or just unfinished. The leak was hopeful it wouldn't go live that way and specifically posted it to Twitter to make sure that if it was an error it got fixed prior to going live.
Most people were pretty sure the cakes weren't meant to be personal BP offerings but didn't want to see a repeat of last year where the cakes were bugged when they went live.

To be fair, cakes are much better than a Bloodhunt. Every trial you get at least 2, maybe even 3-4, occasionally even 5!!!!!
