late night games are weird...

so its like 11pm and I couldnt get to sleep so I decided to practice playing billy and hand out some 4th anniversary cakes since I had a lot left over from last year. I ended up being sent to badham and trapped a Jane in the two story house where the gen was a solo person in that little room who i swiftly downed. I ended up hooking her then I went after a feng who I downed but I could see the aura of the Jane healing behind a shrub due to nurses(I dont have much on billy but thank god I got BBQ first in the bloodweb) She swiftly DC'd and so I shrugged it off and went to go pick up the feng who was on a pallet. When I picked her up a Meg came running at me and slammed the pallet down but messed up the timing where she ended up DCing and the Feng DC'd after I hooked her. all that was left was me and the 2nd feng and we just kinda looked at the hook then back at each other a few times before eventually I just went to the basement and let her get hatch.


It turns out that the 3 that DC'd were 2 rank 15s and a rank 3(I know rank doesnt mean anything really but the fact that a red rank DC'd and said I was tunneling when I legit saw you healing 5 meters away behind a bush. Like you're gonna fault me on capitalizing on that?) and the final feng who I let escape was a green rank console player.


All I wanted was to give cake and practice billy, let the chainsaw speedy boy share his cake ;~;

    last night at 2 am I played against a bamboozel nurse definitely 2 am dbd moment

    Honestly that type of thing I've seen happen at anytime of the day. People will accuse killers of tunneling for anything. Actually it's tunneling if you ever hook a survivor twice lol.

    That all said late night the ranking system has to cast a wider net to fill games so you'll end up with more mixed bags so prepare for more rainbow games.

    Since I'm at R1 most of the time anyway I just play the "Get everyone to death hook then just start letting people go game". I still come away with around 8 hooks and about 25k BP while the survivors all make between 20-25k.

    It's always funny when I down someone for the third time, only to pick them up, bring them to a gen, let them wiggle off, then hit the generator showing I want them to do it. They get so confused lol.

    As someone who frequently plays late at night you get two options for survivors.

    1. Someone dripping out the wazoo on cocaine making the biggest brain plays imaginable
    2. Someone's little cousin johnny who barely knows how to pick up a controller
    3. both

    Ranks are also everywhere but that isn't too strange nowadays. Queue times are somewhat longer so it gives you time to ponder, "I could be doing anything else right now, such as sleeping, and yet I am here queuing at 3am hoping to improve my least played killer." May God have mercy on your soul because the matchmaker sure won't.
